Also remember that a lot of comics are ordered and paid for two or three months before they are scheduled to ship.
So, let's say you're interested in an upcoming monthly comic series. As a comic reader, I buy Issue #1, #2, and #3 before seeing the comic at all. If I hate #1, I'm stuck with #2 and #3. So, the sunk cost fallacy works to make me order #4, and geeze, it's only 5 issues, so I might as well complete the set., maybe it'll get better...
This assumes the comics ship on time. If they go late, which is very common, it's possible to pre-buy an entire miniseries before seeing any of it. I recall one Marvel "mega event crossover" which fell apart completely by Issue #3; but it was shipping so late by then I had already pre-ordered the entire series.
So those sales figures, pathetic as they are, overstate the actual interest in the comic.

Wednesday keeps trying to torment Pugsley and fails.
Morticia and Grandma mention a cursed grimoire handed down in their family and Wednesday goes looking for it.
She finds an issue of 11 Teen magazine that Fester was using to make ransom notes.
Wednesday eventually figures out that giving makeovers is the best way to torture Pugsley.
Gomez and Morticia are shocked by this, so Morticia has a mother-daughter chat with her.
Morticia decides to bequeath the grimoire early to Wednesday.
Wednesday uses it to summon eldritch entities to terrify Pugsley.
THE END.
It's not even close to being as funny as the films in 91 and 93, It's yet another rehash of the tired "Kid in odd family shocks them with normalcy" trope, which was already done (and executed better) with the baby that Gomez and Morticia had in the movies. Chelsea is incapable of having an original idea.

If being the main cause of someone's death is something Chelsea can easily disregard (while acting all sad and suicidal online), I doubt a bunch of cucks with money to burn is a matter of concern to her.
