I think Chris has had a paypig or two giving him money for a while, maybe Sockness or Hirschberg. Or maybe the Therapeutic Docket people found some welfare source he hadn't tapped into.
Even though he lost revenue after getting banned from selling on Ebay, and his Patreon's stuck below $200, we haven't seen Chris do his usual begging for a while - it just suddenly stopped. I think the last time was while he was in the middle of the Docket program last year when he was trying sleazy tactics to get his toy fix like saying Barb and the pets would starve without donations, only to buy video games.
Nowadays when Chris begs it's some half-hearted tweet about an unexpected expense like the car breaking down, or a luxury like funding a convention trip or his homemade cards. And then he quickly gets the money to cover those anyway.

I know this has been asked before but I've never seen an answer. I'd be afraid to out myself too tbh but I'd like to know from anyone who is actually familiar with this game if Chris's cards are sound mechanically, ridiculously OP cheese, useless and dumb, or just autistic? From where I see it, by Chris standards—low standards admittedly—it does seem like he did put some effort in. Unpopular opinion I know. But it is the most creative—again, by standards—and un-ideafag-tainted thing he's done in some time.
