By the way, I don't really follow Stock, but a scroll through her Twitter feed was interesting. She tweets almost exclusively about troonery, but every tweet is well-reasoned, sane, and clearly indicates that she is actually familiar with the literature and what relevant scientific studies exist. Contrast to Rhys with the name-calling, CAPLOCK, idiotic memes, crazy accusations, misogynistic shit like calling women "Karen"...it's barely-coherent ranting and raving. Is the pro-troonery side all chimps like Rhys and dullards like Christa, or is there anybody out there with an actual reasonable and intelligent Twitter feed analogous to Stock's? If there is I'd be interested to look at it.

Hey, Luke Lockhart got a PhD in communications, and he's an autist.
Grad school used to be a place to groom the next generation of academics. Now it's 4-7 years of doing a prof's menial work for slave labor pay that could be more productively spent doing actual work.
It's a safe place to hide from the real world is what tends to be the attraction to these types. Certainly that was the case for Lockhart, who fell completely to pieces once he had to deal with something even vaguely resembling a real job.

What they're describing, the hypothetical situation they're trying to create - where a troon manages to pass somehow for long enough to get an unknowing lesbian in bed with him before revealing he's trans after sex - is literally rape. It's rape by deception, and it's illegal in most of y'alls "progressive" areas. You coerced someone into sex under false pretenses, knowing they wouldn't have sex with you if they knew the truth. That's rape.
And given that the purpose of said rape would be to attempt to force a lesbian to "realize" that she can have and enjoy sex with a man, it's corrective rape at that, which is.. also illegal in a lot of places. Not as many as it should be, but you know.

I would honestly be pissed if I was dating a "guy" and later discovered that "he" had a vagina or, worse, a franken-penis. No thank you. If other people are okay with that -- fantastic. Good for them. It's not like I want to outlaw it, but I can't help being a straight woman who prefers that my sexual partner has a penis. And I shouldn't have to explain or justify that to anyone. Gay/Straight/Bi whatever ... none of us has to justify our preferences.
Honestly, the same can be said for just about anything. If you aren't turned on by obese people, no one should guilt you into dating/sleeping with an obese person. Sure, an obese person has other great qualities -- but a sexual relationship requires attraction. That's why a lot of people get friend-zoned. They like you and think you're great, but you just don't do it for them sexually. Instead of trying to coerce them to give you a chance, just move on and find someone else.

Yeah, exactly. Like, I'm a lesbian, if I was dating a "woman" and found out it was a dude, I would feel.. beyond violated. It would be horrifying and probably actually traumatizing. The idea that troons have that they should be able to do that shit to people is absolutely depraved, they literally don't care about the feelings of the person they're raping and lying to. I can't imagine the levels of malignant narcissism needed to do that to someone.
I wouldn't really compare it to not being attracted to fat people or redheads or whatever, though. Straight people are incapable of attraction to the same sex, gay people are incapable of attraction to the opposite sex - it's not just a "preference" like wanting your partner to be skinny or have a nice ass. Straight male troons who go after lesbians and try to guilt them into sex are literally trying to force these women to engage in sex with someone they're fundamentally incapable of feeling attraction to and enjoying sex with. It's fucked. (Though I agree that you shouldn't be pressured or guilted into dating or having sex with anyone for any reason at all, just pointing out that it's different when you're talking about someone's innate sexual orientation.)
