They certainly do stick together. Folks don't really get this, but it's kind of the same everywhere. You'll always have families that are ridiculously loyal. Of course, loyalty is a wonderful trait, but when it overrides sense, you have to take a step back. If someone in your family, regardless of the close proximity of the connection does some dumbass shit, you have to take a look at the situation and know when is the best time to back them up and when you should sit them down and tell the to STFU. Being loyal works in both ways. You can be loyal to your family and still give them solid advice and nope out of their bullshit. You've done your duty there.

It's probably acne. IIRC she has PCOS which can cause acne in adolescence...as if adolescence itself doesn't bring on acne. At least we know where she got her current skin texture from.
