Yeah, as funny as it is I'm worried for jace. I hope he goes back to living with Eli in the gamer shack once he gets back.
Also interested to get confirmation of the suspicion Gail's a member of some bizarre fringe Christian cult instead of any common denomination. Definitely worrying though since by definition cults are bad fucking news (at the very least its convinced her to neglect her sons health needs, and I'll bet she's being conned out of assloads of money and lord only knows what else).

Well the tl;dr version is that Gail is much, much crazier than we once thought. That and it's more or less confirmed she's a in a cult.

I mentioned this earlier but Jace's adulterous accusations against Gail and Pastor Faggot came off like he knew it would set her off. We can't really know at this point if Gail and PF's relationship is more than friendly or exclusive at all but, If the pastor is bedding with some of his congregation it would definitely fall into the cult like category.

I definitely agree, I thought his living situation with Eli may have been unhealthy but shit it has nothing on gail, seems like he's at least relatively good at tuning out her bullshit but I still can't believe this is what he's been living with for all these years. I used to feel bad for gail because I know how hard it is to live with someone with mental illness but now I feel like gail had a huge hand in making him the way he is.

We can put all the racism and bigotry at her feet. Not to mention why Jace's mental illness has gone untreated for so long. If anything, Jace might need to live with Rob after getting committed for a few months so he can learn to live on his own and then get away from his toxic mother.
I think we can call it a cult simply because of the handwritten 'Bible,' the shitty coffeeshop church, and the fact that the Pastor has done nothing to really help Jace.

Seeing Gail in action I think Jace isn't stupid. He just hasn't been challenged.
I bet he learned a long time back that he didn't need to succeed in school, just snow his mom. Since Gail sees whatever the fuck she wants it's easy.

Just another thought: could it be that Jace's bad eye could be the result of not getting the proper medical treatment? I mean, if his meds are optional, I can't imagine she would put much faith in anything other than her bullshit bigot cult?
