They say people who have an amputated limb feel phantom pain in it. Could this be someone with a phantom e-peen?
The only person associated with Gamergate feeling phantom pain in their ding dong is Brianna Wu.

Especially now that we know Sterling fucked off because he turned out to be waist-deep in Gamergate. He's mentioned directly in the Allistar Pinsof scandal. In addition to being a personal friend of Zoe Quinn and an ally of Greg Tito (who is his largest Patreon sponsor), Sterling is affiliated with Randi Harper (there's someone you want to be friends with - a Meth addict and an individual who laughed it up as her blockbot destroyed the IGDA, one of these peoples' allies), a personal friend of Leigh Alexander, and was covering Anita Sarkeesian's ass so hard during the blastback from the GTAV offensive that I'm surprised he doesn't have shrapnel wounds. In today's news, forgive that this is generally my first time actually attempting to post any sort of update here; we have Sargon tackling a request to perform some of his staple analysis on Angry Joe's recent opinion spiel on GamerGate, in his opinion of course, as well as TotalBiscuit's just as recent advisory warning to the movement as a whole.
Anybody taking bets on whether or not Joe ends up going the way of Jim? Appealing to both sides of the aisle just doesn't really seem to pan out well these days for the man in the middle.![]()
That's not a bad idea, actually.
Everybody, let's write hand-written letters to Giant Spacekat!
That's pretty much why I find this is going to be a replay of that ballad, except I distinctly remember defending Jim's position based on trying to see it from his own domain, surrounded by a good handful of people who wrote his checks and would not take kindly to a blatantly moderate voice. Except when he turned out not to be moderate at all; as you were so kind to call back, Jaimas, and he turned out to have already dipped his finger in the cookie jar. I don't consider Joe much of an anything in this case, never watched his videos, and too often plays shit up for the views because he won't get a real job. WHILE I will admit he does some manner of good on part of the consumer LIKE Sargon pointed out, everybody with half a brain knows he wouldn't be talking about this if he didn't have an ulterior motive of his own, no matter how much he was "called upon" for it if it's too much drama for his taste.
I certainly hope for his sake that he has the foresight to pull out and evaluate the hand that feeds him while he still can, at risk of following straight where Jim's gone.
As much as I take this with my county's entire supply of road salt, it wouldn't surprise me.
Somehow, someway, everything keeps tying back to Zoe. As if it wasn't so much the big gaming "journalist" sites resisted having to report her having slept with big names in the indie gaming community, but rather they all had dangerous ties to the same woman that merely attempting to report on her would be impossible without having to throw somebody else from their little incestual circles under the bus, whose connections would drag down more people, and you folks get the idea.
As in, if there was one person involved with all this shit so deeply with more direct connections than anybody else, such that their exposure would literally be the worst case scenario, Zoe fucking Quinn was that person. The Zoe Post dropping like a nuclear warhead out of the blue just cranked that up to 11, as it didn't even give Zoe's "allies" time to prepare fluff pieces that might have diverted the majority of the trouble by painting the guy who posted the thing being a lying scumbag that was jealous of Zoe's success, so in trying to run damage control they painted gamers up as purely discriminatory towards women as that was literally the only thing they could do to protect Quinn.
It's ironic that her twitter handle was "The Quinnspiracy" since, ultimately, it's an apt description of how much shit GG's uncovered all ties back to her.
TB is also on good terms with Sterling, who's ties to the Anti bigwigs is well established. Joe is affiliated with Channel Awsome, which barring WTFIWWY has become a cesspit rife with these people over the past few years. I haven't gone there regularly since Spoony left.Joe's smarter than that, though. That's why I have some faith on this one. He's willing to make a stand for what's right even if he's standing alone, and he's willing to take on bigger fish than most critics. Joe is often completely uncompromising, and that's kind of why I have respect for the guy. I have confidence that Joe will pick himself up from this incident, and hopefully better himself over it. The blastback he's going to get from Anti-GG for daring to stay neutral is going to be sufficient to remind him of where the boundaries are, and Joe has a long memory. He's also on damned good terms with TotalBiscuit, who I believe is a positive influence.
the only reason to watch Channel Awesome is Based Brad Jones.TB is also on good terms with Sterling, who's ties to the Anti bigwigs is well established. Mike J is hit and miss, but not bad. He does have a bad habit of following 1 good joke with 2-3 groaners.the only reason to watch Channel Awesome is Based Brad Jones.

And no, I'm not saying TB is untrustworthy for merely wanting to ignore the sjw's, it's his connection to Sterling (which is bad enough on it's own, because of the things he's said and done and his very dubious connections), combined with his insistence that we ignore the sjws (some of whom are connected to Sterling), that makes me highly suspicious of his motivations.
TotalBiscuit has proven himself to be concerned with ethics by being transparent in his job and engaging in discussion when GamerGate broke out, and being friends with people who aren't so upstanding doesn't diminish that, because his actions speak far louder than his words or personal affiliations. It's not about trusting someone or not, it's about whether their ideas or advice is valuable. Don't dismiss advice based on the source, evaluate the advice on its own merit.
James Portnow wrote an inspiring speech about standing up for the medium in the face of controversy, but when push came to shove, he failed to walk the talk and even smeared TotalBiscuit. That doesn't invalidate his advice or ideas; I think they're very valid right now, as is TotalBiscuit's.
Francis York Morgan powiedział(a):Look at who is the editor-in-chief for GamesBeat, VentureBeat's gaming section. It's another person listed in the original GameJournosPro group, Dan Hsu. So was Dean Takahashi, the writer. Make of that what you will.
So miss Sarkeesian is now a "fighting fucktoy"?http://towerfall.tumblr.com/post/110562144181/alternate-archers

Next up is the alternate blue archer. If you keep up on gaming news she may seem familiar - her appearance is loosely based on feminist games critic Anita Sarkeesian. Anita’s work has been an inspiration to the TowerFall team. Her “Tropes vs Women in Games” video series gave us a valuable new lens through which to assess our character designs. TowerFall is about bringing people together, so it’s vitally important that the cast of playable characters makes everyone feel invited to join in. Simply put, this wouldn’t have occurred to me if not for Anita, and feedback from players has reinforced how important it really is. We’re very excited to immortalize Anita in a small way, as the alternate Last of the Order.
