I lived in KY for a while, I was stationed @ Fort Campbell and lived in the area, went to college in the area after my discharge.
My KY coworkers were such wonderful people, and I do miss them. The people I knew were so, so kind, so friendly (I couldn’t get over that being so friendly, we Yankees aren’t like that).
I do have to admit, though, that there were patients who were....well, a bit exceptional.
Not that we don’t have messed up people here in Philadelphia, we do, trust. Ugh. Just a different kind of bonkers, I suppose?

Another thought: Has anyone ever mentioned this kid having any other conditions (diagnosed or not) that could have complicated things? Childhood asthma, maybe? Allergies? He died in February, so I'm not sure if there would have been pollen blowing around Kentucky that time of year, but if his respiratory and immune systems were already under stress...

Yeah and thats why is wierd to me that she chose to lie about being raped by an ex and name her instead of saying she was abused in the foster care system - it would be more believable (and maybe true) and we wouldnt be able to track down and prove she was lying. A smart move now would be leave Becky and her clan behind and find a new caretaker/enabler. But maybe its to much work for her. Becky is already well trained. And she was hoping to get simpaty with the cancer story but it backfired soooo hard.
If Amber didn't know about Becky's kidfucker BIL, she does now. When she was little she had more fingers inside her than a bowling ball, so if she continues to support Misty she's indirectly supporting the type of abuse she suffered.

Kids who are neglected have much, much less trouble telling people that they don't have a lunch or that their mom is out all the time or has random men over at all hours- they aren't afraid there will be repercussions for tattling on their parents in most cases of neglect.

Amber has said or very strongly alluded to being sexually abused, but I believe she said it was while she was in foster care. I could be wrong about the last part, but AL has been dropping hints that she was molested for years. She said that is why she can’t sleep at night. As for not having hallmarks of a sexually abuse victim I think her weight from a young age could suggest that she was. Almost all of the 600lb life group have been sexually abused. It could be why she hates the D too.

The order for child support began in 2001, which coincides with the birth of his son, Zachary Burkett, which puts him at 19 now. Here's Zach's arrest record, he got done for DUI and driving around with no plates fresh outta his undoubtedly shitty childhood.

Now it seems from Sean's Facebook rambling that he is largely homeless between arrests. He posts a lot about "his" kids (who the fuck knows). He makes no mention of Zach, and they are not friends on Facebook.
