So here is an interesting dilemma brewing in the world of sportsball that is relevant and telling of the differences between woke bullshit and reality.

It's crazy how deluded the defendants are. LawTwitter is going to screw them over hardcore in the long-run, because they've been deluded into believing not just that the TCPA is an easy win where they'll make endless monies from Vic, but we can be reasonably sure that Lawtwitter will continue to blow smoke up their backsides afterward and insist they'll easily win at summary judgement/jury, while Griftsby keeps trying to sell the #metoo angle.
In the end, if they keep listening to the biased idiots, they're going to ignore every turn-off that could preserve their reputation and bank accounts, and at the end of the line it won't matter if they win or lose, their reputation and funds will have been so destroyed and become so radioactive that they won't ever recover. And any smart person or lawyer would tell them that it's not actually worth it to fight to the end instead of settling and sweeping it under the rug. Many times, I'm sure.

well boys, finally got blocked on sight for the first time in my life lol. all i did was drop in a thread to say "both KV and ISWV have had people who have gone overboard", and that man was apparently rapid fire triggered.
it strikes me that social media, specifically twitter is a totally indispensable component of these witch hunts nowadays. they literally could not and would not happen without it. it's the best way to brigade huge numbers of groupthinkers based on very clipped, under-specific statements and engage them in all-out turd flinging armageddon. of course many of us have said inflammatory things online. but twitter takes it to a whole new level, and its simultaneous idiocy as well as widespread visibility makes it a PR nightmare for whoever ends up on the receiving end of the shitstick, whether or not the attack is justified. it just so happens it's especially useful when you don't have evidence, or the evidence is a little lacking, because you don't need any of that. it's never been easier to jumpstart this process as long as you have a remotely sizeable level of clout in a given community, as the cunt sisters do, and a petty bone to pick.
it bothers me most because any single one of these cases could be justified, but the sheer accessibility of this hideous power automatically means someone--probably many people--would use it for evil eventually. to not recognize that fact is the kind of naivete, willful or not, that KVers must have in order to take their position, completely regardless of whether or not vic actually assaulted anyone. because it can almost be guaranteed that nearly every one of these KVers are the ones believing every accusation aired out on twitter and other platforms simply by virtue that they are alleged.
so as i said, i think members of both sides have gone a bit too far at times throughout this whole goat rodeo, but it takes a special kind of head-in-the-sand KV type to balk at the very notion that allegations posed on social media could be false, or made in bad faith. it's why any reasonable third party observer would see KV as more insane, and of course i say that with full bias. but good christ, these people are dumb.

I'd say give it a few months. The Internet has a bad habit of forgetting drama, and TGWTG taught me that refusing to let things die makes you look like a jackass.
They cared about Colin Kaepernick. It's more of "a way that they can use this to further their cause?" Also, AB went against their narrative, so I guess he's dead to them. Also also, AB has a bit of a reputation for being a diva among NFL people and one guy I follow on Twitter that talks sports pointed out that criminal charges haven't been filed.
While this is some Internet drama that may end up being forgotten in a few months or stagnate after accomplishing its base goals like Gamergate or KiA (man, that place makes me feel nostalgic), part of me feels like there's gonna come a point where people will say "fuck it" and leave (insert medium here) to the SJWs and allow it to survive or have a 1983esque crash on its own, and the people who left will return to the ruins to start anew.
