His anatomy has devolved into weird long torsos and massive hips and ass. Anywhere off FA points it out but all the comments on FA kiss his ass. Kuro was going downhill before the DMCA, Nintendo smacking him around seems to have accelerated things.

Furries tend to have a very different interpretation of copyright within their tribe and outside of it. Within their tribe, furries want to have Prince level control over their own characters and media they create. Not only will furries throw DMCAs at people who mock or repost their art (even when credited), but many artists even now have rules where you can only commission them for art with the character owners permission. The reason? Some furries had been getting porn of furries who had identified as asexual or with fetishes they didn't like to fuck with other furries, and in some cases even revenge porn/revenge art of other people's fursonas.
Outside their tribe however who the fuck cares if you're drawing porn of a copyrighted corporation's character. Kuro's big mistake was that he focused his furry porn artist career on drawing nothing but mediocre Pokemon fucking comics for hundreds of pages, then got big enough to get noticed by the original IP owner. While it's clear he used this comic to springboard his popularity, if he had moved onto something else (even drawing porn of other franchises like many furry artists I know do) he might not have drawn as much heat. Hell maybe he wouldn't have gotten so complacent drawing the same few characters fucking.
He's treading on thin ice. Nintendo is very notorious for DMCAing romhacks, fangames, and now video game music uploads on YouTube. While most companies tend to ignore porn or in the case of say Disney look the other way to avoid giving it attention, Nintendo will try to make it go away if it gets big enough. In the 90s they bought the rights to a shitty Mario porno parody called Super Hornio Bros just to stop it from being distributed.
When most artists or fans get a DMCA they tend to take the hint instead of pressing their luck like Kuro is. He could draw tons of things that aren't Pokemon and still keep his audience since they tend to crave even garbage with a popufur's name on it.

Fair use under parody requires social commentary or editorialization. In which case, it would be fine. The law enjoys and recognizes satire.
A comic about eevees fuckin' each other ain't it. It's made for commercial purposes using Nintendo's IP and would be an open and shut fuck you if it ever went to court.

Nintendo can be a royal cunt towards fan projects but in the case of Kuro they were completely justified. He was licensing his Eeveelutions porn comic with an ISBN. At that point he should have just handed his mailing address to Nintendo to save them some time on figuring out where to send the court summons.

Gonna powerlevel just a smidge because I went in expecting the worst anyway.
Friend let me know there was a convention a few hours a way, a part of me was like "fuck it lets take a look" Other than food and gas that day, the event was pretty much free for me. I treated it like a trip to the zoo, lets look at the animals I hear and talk about so much.
Oh my god though, I felt like every 5th person was a tranny or some sort of manly she/male mix. I thought they were just big on twitter, I guess most of the fandom is moving from mostly gay guys being the cool hip thing to be, to tranny or some sort of monster that looks like a trany. I honestly should have taken pictures but I was too busy with the shier AMOUNT of concentrated messes.
I saw a man so fat he was literally round. No shelf ass, no shoulders no lumps or bumps. Literal ball with two triangles for legs. (oh and a fedora)
It was morning so there wasnt alot of smells but looking at all the people, once the suits came out I was going to book it.
Mostly dudes at the con, no surprise. They all seemed to have the same beard and or hunched over walk.
It was friday and people were chatting about barely making it to sunday with what little money they had, already....dah fuk?
Their "panels" were so boring you would be hard pressed to see more than 10 people even watching them.
Constant chatter about sex conversations like it was the weather. (not surprised just it seemed like every person was doing it)
It was the strangest thing, all these people and hardly anything was going on, just alot of standing around. I do not see why these people go broke going to these things other than free favors in the hotel rooms.
I was hoping for more funny stories but literally it was just nothing. The people watching was worth it only because you would listen and wonder if they talk like that all the time or just because they are here. The shier amount of 2's-3's out of 10 looking people and maybe a single 6 looking lady there (I think they worked for the hotel, not sure) was fascinating.
Furries are no different IRL as they are online, it was like a trip to the zoo. You hear about lions all the time but until you see one up close, you never really understand them.

I'd ask what con this was. I've been to a number of furmeets where the crowd is really mixed and I just stick to the few friends I have and ignore the rest.
However, you bring up one point I've been saying for a while: furries are no longer gay. They're trans now. This is reflected not only in how a surprising amount with be trans or the made up identities of genderfluid and non-binary, but also the fact that practically every single furry loses their shit if you say any sort of thing about trannies that isn't positive. Hell, I know a few tranny furfags. And they all agree that the amount of trenders and fuckwads diluting that pool of transgender shit makes them angry. Regardless, that's not the point. The point is that your average furry being gay is a thing of the past because now your average furry is trans.

You pretty much are on the money with why the furry con scene is such a trashfire.
Anime and other generic nerd conventions tend to draw a wider audience than furry conventions do. MFF might have had 10k people but that's nothing when all of the top 10 biggest anime cons in North America each draw more people in than the biggest furry convention in the world. That's because anime and other multi genre nerd conventions tend to have more of a reason to draw people in: extra large game rooms, anime studios/distributors announcing and screening their shows/movies, and massive dealer rooms.
But then you look at furry conventions and there's nothing to draw you in if you're an outsider, unless you're going there for the purpose of visiting a lolcow zoo. With nobody else to drown out the nerds, you can only find the turboautists and when it comes to this it excels. People are only standing around there doing nothing to "socialize", making up for having no friends in real life at their McJob or college campus. If the furry fandom had thriving SFW creative scenes within it (such as indie comics, indie games etc.) then the story might be different. There would be panels from creatives in the fandom instead of self help panels or meetups.

I'm surprised there isn't more about otherkin in this part of the forum. Otherkin are almost universally furries. Don't see anywhere more appropriate to put this, so I may as well drop it here.

This is like an autistic version of the debate ancient theologians had as to whether the nature of Christ was divine or human.
