More like him trying to put himself higher than the writers and editors. For example< one of his earliest normie-moments i remember is him dunking on a writer Geoff Johns for "not understanding Wonder Woman" and giving the most generic description himself ."Compassion, truth... worked as an ambassador" that's like saying "Batman is grumpy, paranoid... broke his back once". And this shit is everywhere in his work. I can't even explain it properly without dumping a bunch of seemingly unrelated crap or forcing you to read it, but it's one of those things that if you know the topic, you know he's full of shit. It's almost uncanny valley effect. Like that kid in a class who wrote book reports based on reports from the internet or his brother's reports. He's kinda right and that's kinda what the plot was, but everything is off, dislocated from other stuff in the book or just missing.
exactly. His comic knowledgebase is like someone who watched the Marvel films, and then read a wikipedia article and two CBR articles about the characters to try and sound like they knew about the character 'all along'.
