It's something that seems to crop up a lot. My theory is that some comics are written by people so dysfunctional and detestable that they don't even realize that the villains they write are better people than the heroes.
It's uncanny. Lots of creators are pretty awful human beings in their personal lives, but at least they can write decent, likeable protagonists. I wonder why.

Why should he? What logic dictates “safe trannies from harassment” follows “separate art from artists”? There is no connection of these things. At most it’s saying that you don’t need care if a tranny is involved making your favorite entertainment, just enjoy.

I don't get it, is this guy supposed to come across as hypocritical? People support artists that make art they care about. Being an artist doesn't make you entitled to support from everyone that "enjoys art".
I doubt Billy is trying to argue that you should support artists that make anti-tranny propganda comics just because "they're artists", so what the hell is even the point supposed to be?
Aside from "if you don't donate to tranny artist patreons you're a nazi", of course.
