Yep, in B.C. pepper spray is a prohibited weapon unless used for self defense from animals. Threatening to pepper spray someone means it is NOT for animal defense but now threatening someone with a prohibited weapon.

That's why I am hoping for a visit to the tribunal from the RCMP shortly.
