That place could be made of paper and straw and I'd still want to live in it. That's gorgeous. It's no surprise Ron would have the skills to get a 'sensible' house, but the fact that he couldn't flex on getting a similarly grand looking house at a much lower cost calls into question his skills for me.

Also, they skimped on the kitchen cabinets on that remodel. No way is that little shelf enough to replace uppers. Could'nt show off the fancy hood though.
I think whoever did it anticipated old people or a childless couple buying it.
