It's not so much a thing with just him as it is with a lot of people who identify as trans. For some it's for fetish purposes, for others there's the great looming fear that they'll have a desire to have kids after they've decided to fuck up their reproductive system. Hence they freeze their sperm so they can still be able to ideally reproduce after their reproductive system is nonfunctional or chopped off.

Given how awful operations are currently I wouldn't blame any trans person for not wanting to do any surgeries because that shit both has a good chance of looking horrible and also seems like something that you have to take special care of for years after the fact before it "passes" to most people. Seeing pictures of post ops even several months after can be quite jarring, it seems like it's more trouble then it's worth at the moment.

Slightly related but, I wonder what would happen if some kind of cure was found for gender dysphoria, whatever it may entail. I mostly wonder this because I've worked with the deaf community fairly extensively and with the advances of cochlear implants, allowing a deaf person to hear again is increasingly possible and is growing from edge cases to applying to a lot of them. Which has sort of caused this massive rift in which if someone whom is deaf decides to, you know, actually cure their disability they become outcasts of the deaf community and there are a lot of them that will be deeply offended that they have become hearing again and will fight against it at all costs. Obviously some don't care but it's a surprising amount that deeply care about it. So I wonder what would happen to the trans community if somehow dysphoria had some kind of magical cure where it's gone, and given the noticeably large amount of transgendered people in the community what kind of weird effect it would have.

It's the victim culture and mindset. Some people pretend to be trans just to feel oppressed and victimized, so that they can belong to a group that may accept them. A pretty common behavior in people who need to belong somewhere.
There's usually a good reason why they don't fit in groups, however.

A lot of it reallt depends on where you go for the surgery. Too many pick the cheap option of Thailand or slightly less cheap option of Brazil. I have yet to see one from Thailand that doesnt look like they were set upon with a cheese grater. You get what you pay for, and like the people that go to Mexico for dental work you cant expect amazing results.

As for a cure, for people that hate being gender dysphoric it might be a god send for them. For people that is the only thing about them they see as having worth it might be like a cock slap from Satan's feminine penis. Lot of people are one trick ponies. A lot of people have just one thing that makes them unique. Look at people that peaked in junior high and high school. They had one thing, probably sports or were a goth or some thing. After high school? They aint got shit.

If it isn't suppressed by woke activists or lobbying groups that prefer to sell more drugs, it'd cause a shitstorm online. Right now the trans identity/culture is about popping pills, fetishizing being a girl/turning into one, and being the most oppressed person on earth. The trans flag might as well be the trendiest brand name to them, their bible is fiction/fapfics about turning into a girl (with HRT replacing the transformation potion trope), and any themes that can be appropriated to fit the idea of turning into a girl (like cyberpunk) are embraced and rewritten. Hell there's even "egg hatching" and fetishies about forcefully turning people into women that are popular in the trans community.

Living as your biological sex and being happy with it is something they all hate. They know their community and minority status would dry up, especially in a society/community that encourages being oppressed. There's also unsurprisingly the usual fears that drugs and whatnot would change who they are and whatnot, but it's dwarfed by the fact that they would feel like their community and lifestyle of living as someone they're not would be erased.

The sad part is that all the actual trans people I know just want to be left alone to live their lives. Its the fucking transtrenders that turn it into a 3 ring circus. Its the fucking perverts that scream up and down about the feminine penis that make it a laughing stock.

Pretty much. Legit trans folk just want to blend in to society and not get reminded all the time that they're so different. Cos y'know, for the most of them, drawing attention to the fact they have different genitalia and are trans in general is the whole centre of dysphoria.
 
This is exactly the part I never understood. If you are a trans man just call yourself a man ffs. Why is the trans part important? Do you WANT to invite people to invalidate your manliness? If you are so adamant about "I WAS born as a man!" then why reference that, actually, you were considered a girl at some point.

For the most part 95% do say they are the gender their dysphoria says they are. It's that 5% that have to let you know they are trans, that they are different. And these are the actual trans people. There are others, the transtrenders, that 100% want you to know they are different and how that makes them awesome and you aren't because you aren't special and different like them.

And to a person, every transtrender I have ever had the misfortune of meeting is a pathetic social wash up that has to do something extreme to make themselves interesting. Then again, most of them can't keep a job to save their asses and has spent a large amount of their adult lives sleeping out a couch they don't own, in an apartment they don't pay for. They are pathetic fucks that go out of their way to make the lives of people with legitimate disorders feel even worse about themselves then they already do and the rest of us look at them like they are all batshit insane.

Theres also the fact that a lot of these transtrenders are just fetishizing it. Look at all the men who think that just because they're a bit feminine or like crossdressing, or even just play as a female character in a video game that suddenly it makes them trans. Its the same as people who are mildly sad diagnosing themselves with depression.

Anyway to sorta bring this thread back on track Growly's court time was at 8:30PST and I imagine that'll mean we'll finally find out what he got arrested for. My money's on possession and distributing CP since it would explain why the Juvenile Division nabbed him. I dont trust any rumours flying around since they have exactly 0 verification beyond "my friend said this and it must be true"

As of right now no, nothing yet. Technically someone could take that court case number and search for that in the LA courthouse system however there is a fee for it and I'm too cheap to pay it. I would assume the sheriff's department page would update since you can click on the court case number at the bottom and see some details that haven't been updated yet. Either it's still going on or they are slow as fuck at updating it.

Only thanks to someone posting a screenshot instead of posting "he got busted" with no sources did I finally find what to search for. The website is broken as shit and just pasting the number from the jail site doesn't work. His case number on that system is BA479369.
