Lol I did a whole extensive run down on their founder KittenBread aka Nina Jean. She bought herself a power chair she didn’t need with GFM money because the NHS wouldn’t give her one, and now she screeches about disability access because she has heart failure plus EDS , POTS and every other illness. Her last “greatest hit” was stating that the neurosurgeon said she didn’t need brain surgery without explaining why she was at the neurosurgeon trying to bait people into asking what was wrong.
PartyWurmple claims the EDS/POTS/GP/MCAS combo, is on TPN, and says she has had sepsis 12 times (four of them in under six months) several times almost going into shock from it.
The new mod ThePixieTruth claims to be a symptomatic CF carrier which is not exactly a thing. she claims to be so sick that she has to be on BiPAP twenty hours a day, she has to do CF vest and nebulizer treatments, she needs oxygen just to walk, and her lung function is hovering right around where they start to consult CF patients for transplants... but she works as an EMT despite these hardships and like.. inability to breathe. She’s posted all these sob stories on an account that was supposed to separate her mod account from her personal one specifically so IfAftermathers and I couldn’t stalk her. That went swimmingly as you can see.
MBIr is the only one who covers her tracks well enough. My best guess is she’s actually a doctor like she claims and just a giant sjw control freak.
Edit: oh, BrochureAnon was either actually sick and her health improved or she got tired of being a munchie spoonie warrior for internet points. either way she quit to get on with her real life.

Short answer: because the company was not at fault here and didn't actually do anything illegal, though the other employees/manager were assholes, if we take her account as gospel.
Longer answer:
The onus is on an employee who has a disability to request "reasonable accommodation" from their employer, an employer can't (and won't) just say "well, sounds like you're disabled, lemme give you a special seat so you can sit down while everyone else is expected to stand." The employer probably could have accommodated her, since it sounds like much of her role could have been done sitting on a chair/stool. But that would have required her submitting paperwork from her doctor to her employer to prove she has a disability and what accommodations are needed.
An employer also does not have to provide accommodation if it would cause the business "undue hardship." The previous discussion on making historic buildings accessible sorta touched on this, but using another example, if a beach town was hiring for a "lookout" in their lifeguard station on the beach to sit inside the station and just watch through binoculars all day long, and someone applied who was otherwise qualified but used a powerchair. To hire this person, the town would need to build a special walkway to get the applicant across the sand and to the station safely, and the town would NOT be required to do this as this would cause an undue financial burden.
For another example, say an employee has ADHD and the company is moving to the dreaded "open office" floorplan. An office would be ideal, but the company doesn't have to immediately provide one, as they can first try providing the employee with a cube away from most foot traffic, earplugs, a white noise machine, noise-cancelling headphones, etc. If none of these work and there are no offices to provide, the company could allow the employee to work from home, if the essential duties of the role could be accomplished from home. But if the employee is the receptionist and that role includes accepting visitors and deliveries into the office, obviously trying to accommodate the employee with telework would cause undue hardship to the organization, as the employee would not be able to complete the majority of their role, which are essential duties, from home.

I’ve been checking her post history since then but she seems to have quietened down on her shit posting. Must have noticed we were looking.
I do love how she seems to be giving advice to cfers in the cf subreddit... great to know they are receiving advice from such a good source.
I can’t see her lasting long as a mod as she hasn’t really done any modding. Great to know they’ve hired someone so useful to them.

im betting just wanting better mods and the ability to post there again. for being a relatively small subreddit, if has a grossly inflated ego, right on par with what you would expect with a munchie.
its just one giant circle jerk over there, i think of the smug south park episode. my guess is that new mod was someone that party_wurmple or mbi chatted with regularly so they felt safe enough to pass mod to.
if has reached what became of the lolcow munchie thread was before admin told them to fuck off. the place was teeming with munchie spergs calling each other out and self posting. and the self righteousness that spews from them, talking shit but still thinking that they are all posi-vibes and love is a joke. jaquies death was the biggest sign of how they really feel, they have no backbone. as long as its not them then its a buffet. i cant recall what munchie was the biggest tell but as soon as she had been featured as a new topic it came out that she was at least a lurker but suddenly that place was the devil.

lmao they are so far up their own assholes they probably can't even smell their farts anymore. Medical professionals or not they are still just gossiping about people online. You'd swear they're on a mission from God or something. At least we're honest about that here. Oh yeah and the likelihood of being doxed and becoming a cow is a pretty good deterrent for not contacting cows imo.

Honestly thought it'd get a bit more attention but felt like I had to post it with a real holier than thou tone so I couldn't be accused of adding to the "IFA is a hate sub waaaah" nonsense.
I don't think she's got mittens on, I think that's just the end of a sleeve of a fleece jacket.

BrochureAnon stopped modding but is still happily munching. BrochureAnon is @chronicarly on IG- still loving that in-between-the-boobs port for saline infusions for severe POTS (but don't worry! she can still somehow perform in plays and musicals with extensive and overexerting dance routines, and work a demanding active job with dogs and cats!)
