Phil made around $10,000 in spending money last month and 2 days into this month he's already saying he's for sure going to run out of money until he gets paid by Twitch in 2 weeks. Can you fucking imagine living paycheck to paycheck when you make that kind of money? It's mind boggling, even more so when you take his sedentary lifestyle into account. Naturally, during the same rant he also complained that he's moving his day off from Thursday to Friday because restaurants will be closed early for the holiday. So he can move his schedule around without issue and money is tight but he absolutely must go out to eat at a restaurant on his day off. Phil is really lucky his fans are the biggest brainlets on the internet because everybody else would realize none of this shit passes the smell test and would start to ask questions.
That's what credit cards are for.
The maxed out ones.
That he can only afford the minimum payments on.
That are now doubled.
With ever increasing interest because he can't find any more 0% interest cards anymore.
When he has no cash on hand to make this month's credit card bills.
And you're saying something smells?

Okay, my apologies for saying "I don't know why you guys would think this" because yeah he does play on harder difficulties sometimes.
But for new games, and not remakes/remasters it's a very small chance it happens.
If i remember correctly he played some other RE game on hard because that was the "standard" difficulty and normal gave you a lot of supplies and ammo, as well as a gun with infinite ammo (being easy mode). I bet if people told him that Normal in the HD remaster of Metroid was easy and Hard was normal, he would play it on Hard (and he would be incredibly asspained).

Yes. For example a low level businessman living in NYC, that has a lot of expense to keep his job. Dsp has none of that. He invests nothing into the streaming, everything he spends goes to his luxury life he thinks he deserves.

When he played the RE Remake he picked the easy option (it's kind of vaguely stated, it's not just easy/normal so honestly I can see the confusion there). Then when he played RE Zero the stream chat tricked him and told him the easy on that version was a new extra easy, normal was the old easy and hard was the original normal so he played it on hard a died a billion times. Also when he played Metroid Prime 1 it was the trilogy version, he played it on normal (actually easy like you said) but still managed to die a bunch of times and nearly ragequit the game.

Yeah, i remember very well the fiasco with RE Zero, specially Phil dying a fuckload of times to the monkeys and him bitching about "i will not have enough ammo to kill the final boss" which was golden. But not as good as the Ink Ribbon bitching in RE: Nemesis.

In Metroid Prime 1 he only died 2 times if i remember correctly. The thing is that he died in the toughest zone of the game: The Phazon mines which is full of hard as fuck enemies (All sorts of Space Pirates and Elite Pirates) and only has 2 save rooms. He rage quitted because he died and had to reload the game at the very beginning at the Phazon mines, having to replay 40 minutes. And later he died again because he mistook a missile station with a save station (even tho the animation was different, there was no save room music and it said clearly "Missiles fully replenished" and not "Game saved. Health fully replenished.") and he went into a Phazon area you are supposed to go later with the Phazon Suit. It was amazing to hear him say right after he died "People are saying that was a Missile room and not a Save room!?"

Judgement got 21% votes on the poll and he gets low attendance. Don't know why he is so surprised.

Like I've said before, all these choices are god awful for streaming besides Mario Maker 2 which from last time I watched, he avoided online entirely and refuses to make his own course. And no matter how much you say that you have fun and enjoy a boring fucking game Phil(you dont), doesn't mean others are going to tune in and have fun watching.

I wouldn't call Judgment awful for streaming, but you have to know what you're doing (aka. make the combat interesting to watch) and preferably know the lore behind the Yakuza games to have something to talk about.

Phil is shit in both aspects and is just boring to watch.

Someone like devilleon (a Yakuza YouTuber) got around 2-3k viewers on his stream of the game even though he only got 25k subscribers on YT.

Also, Phil was again, late with the release.
Even though the official release was June 25th, people who pre-ordered digital copies could already play on the 20th. (But Mr. professional streamer couldn't be arsed to check the psn store)

I still dont think its fair to give him crap over choosing difficulty in resi remake. There were 3, no indication what is what. He choose middle. 99% of gamers would say middle is normal.
Yes indeed, as a gamer you would just assume the middle one is normal. Yet you'd think that as a streamer, you'd do 20 seconds of research into the differences between the multiple difficulties in order to make the correct choice as to what would provide the most entertaining stream.

But then again, it's Phil we're talking about, who has his viewers do every single thing for him, including choosing the games he's playing, buying said games, basically playing said games for him (he just does what chat tells him), so it's not surprising he would have chat tell him what difficulty to play on. Color me as shocked and surprised as a kangaroo in Antarctica.

DSP just decided that he's going to play Judgment only during late streams after today because it's not getting enough "attention". He has complained multiple times people are not showing up, not talking to him etc. etc., the usual pathetic shit.

-edit- He just paused the gameplay to rant and complain more, berating his audience directly.
-edit2- He's letting his bad mood show and is going off on a viewer for suggesting there are games out there that better fit livestreaming.
-edit3- Lol, that was one of the quickest clock-outs I've ever seen from DSP. He wanted to get the fuck out of there as quickly as possible.

Clip(s) incoming.

-edit4- Sorry, that took longer than expected because I felt like making a montage of today's "interaction" shenanigans. Sound good?

I really love the fact that he is playing a game that he is enjoying for once, but his greed is so massive that he's dropping it in order to find a shitty game he will rage at that brings in more money. I love that Phil's greed has become so overpowering that it's even sabotaging his own enjoyment.

I love the "i work 21 hours a day" meme. Yeah you babysit youtube uploads for 6 hours and do god knows what else. He's not browsing reddit cause he is always uninformed on shit so he must he be wasting so much time sitting in his office. Btw i manned up and got a real job like 9 months ago and i work 12 hours day. I have savings and some crypto. My job gives me health insurance. If dsp really is in crippling debt this dude is so fucked. Wow he has a proprty woohoo. Past like 30 you're too late to get a real job. When reality comes knocking it gonna be rough. (Assuming dsp isnt rolling in dough and scammin out the wakando)

I do think he is rolling in dough. He knows he won't find a job and he has to save up, which is why the begging has reached new heights these last few weeks. It's not even the fact that he's past 30, it's that he has no potential. Plenty of people could leave the workforce for a decade, yet find a job again in their respective fields after a bit of brushing up. If they have a minimum of intelligence/capability/dedication/discipline, they'd be perfectly fine. You'd be amazed of people's abilities. Phil however, has none, and I don't think even he is deluded enough to believe anyone will give someone like him a job. I mean, he has trouble setting up a damn Amazon wishlist... what responsibilities would any company in the history of capitalism trust him with exactly? He creates toxic environments, he's a shitty person to talk to, his problem-solving skills are non-existent, he has trouble adding up 99 and 12, he cannot process information in a decent manner, he can't think ahead, he doesn't factor in possible consequences when making decisions and I could go on.

What kind of job could he be trusted with? Put yourself in the shoes of an employer and imagine someone like Phil walking in. Now, I'm gonna use him as an example again because he is the only other streamer I have looked into a bit lately because of the E3 showdown, but on the other hand, imagine someone like Dr. Disrespect trying to get a job in a few years. The dude seems very intelligent underneath all that persona. He would be organized and would get to work. He would see what is required of people for that job and attack it until he believes himself capable of actually doing it. You can see he's someone with a drive and that quickly grasps new concepts, knows how to use them to his advantage and seeks to optimize anything he does by understanding the demand and most importantly, lack of certain supply in a certain field.

Phil would just expect people to give him a job because he got a degree 15 years ago. If they say there are specific requirements, Phil would say that's bullshit, that he 'has the degree, that should be enough' and move on to the next job application, hoping one would eventually simply throw him a luxurious job that pays a lot for something a monkey could do. That is why Phil will never be trusted with any job, and he knows it. I truly believe he is pocketing most of the cash he's getting at the moment because he knows he'll need it.

He's always awful in this regard. With judgement having watched him across 2-3 different sessions at this point and he pretty much just does one combo throughout with little to no variation. 39:09 and 19:53 respectively. It works but from a viewer's standpoint it makes another aspect of the game boring, in a game where there are already a lot of cutscenes, a lot of walking around, and segments where you have to trail somebody.

As is no shock to anyone, Phil goes through no extra effort to entertain his stream or to challenge himself. His initial goal at least of reviewing games objectively is rendered pretty useless when he makes no effort to wring any entertainment out of what is an interactive medium.

I'll say it again: I want him to play Kerbal Space Program so the chat can try to explain orbital dynamics to him.

Try and fail.
"People say 'The higher you rise the deeper you fall'. Uuuuuh, I dunno what that means. Uuuh. Hu Hu!

Almighty Swagginz cheers 200 bits and says 'Phil, you have to add struts to stabilize your ship', thank you Almighty Swagginz, I'll add you to the list *SNORT*

Huuuuuun? What's this?
Uuuuuh.
Uuuh.
ACK ACK ACK ACK.
Look, my ship wobbles. *shakes his tits* *random unfunny noises* Uuuh, what's going on? Ah mah gahd.
... People in chat are saying I should have added struts. Huh. Okay then. The game hasn't explained that. Which is kinda stupid if you think about it, right. How should I have known, you know what I mean"

Oh, sorry, I just lost myself again in the hypnotic predictable way of philspeak.

Never go full dsp.

Yeah, we shouldn't give him shit if he's uninformed about the difficulty setting if he just bought a game. He will still play it like shit tho.

Working 21 hours. Lol.

Adding to the list of things Phil says that prove he wouldn't be able to work a nornal job. Phil sounds like the kind of guy who would seriously bill his employer for time spent driving from home to the workplace.

"Bugged overtime mechanics," etc
