Complaining about people "not addressing him" in chat, after clocking out (not recorded for Youtube):

I love when he does this. People do talk to him in chat but that's not what you mean is it Dave? Interaction isn't the problem is it? You want money involved in this equation. I mean, who wouldn't want to pay someone to say fuck all? I've seen people pay to ask this dick a question and he fucks about and just says "I don't know man, I really don't", even when they're just asking his opinion on something. He seems terrified to have an opinion on anything outside his personal sphere. Boring as fuck. Interaction begets interaction, you can't just sit there dead-eye staring at the screen repeating verbatim what's happening and expect people to do your job and pay for the privilege.

Stop being a pussy and flat out say your problem, you didn't make enough money. Everybody knows that's what you mean, even your hardcore cocksuckers know that's what you mean.

He hasn't worked a job since 2010. He has no idea what job market is like these days, I'd bet he doesn't realize making 90 dollars for 3 hours of work is really fucking good.

then staring blankly at the audience while shaking a tip cup
"If someone wants to start me off with an opening, I can deliver the punchline. I'm here waiting guys." *yawns* "Man, I'm tired guys. Telling jokes for 10 hours a day is hard work."

With Judgement and Sinking City, you can tell he is really trying to figure out what games net him money, but it's interesting that HE is never in the equation. Nevermind realizing that it is the streamer that should make the stream entertaining, he doesn't even factor his commentary in at all; he should at least be considering which games he feels opens up opportunities or topics for him to talk to the chat or inspire commentary. But that's because he just consistently sucks. Unless he is ranting, he has nothing to say anymore.

Phil says he couldn't do a private stream since trolls would just restream it anyway. While that may be true, he doesn't even consider that it still might be a net positive for his community, a treat for his fans to have a more personal experience. He doesn't even think that his fans would want to come and watch him, they would automatically go to a detractor stream because it is free. It always comes back to money with him.

A breakdown and a fine example of DSP guilt tripping his audience (for not giving him more money)

A) Summary of today's early stream:

0h00m music
0h26m start of pre-stream
1h27m end of pre-stream, start of gameplay
3h30m break ("It will be about a 20-minute break")
3h57m return from break (actual break time: 27 minutes)
4h06m resuming gameplay after yapping on for 9 minutes
5h35m end of gameplay
---------------------
Total broadcast duration: 5 hours and 35 minutes
Time spent actually playing a game: 3 hours and 33 minutes

B) Money made (tips, subs and bits):

$54 in tips
$27.50 in subs [11 subs * ($5 / 2)]
$7.23 in bits (might have been more, so this the minimum amount)
---------------------
Total: at least $88.73

C) Now here comes the fun part: take note of the leaderboards when 1) he started his break, and 2) when he was clocking out.

It didn't move a single bit (pun intended) for over 2 hours straight, but keep in mind the ~$90 he actually made. Now for DSP's reactions to chat "interaction":

Complaining about people not "talking" to him, 10 minutes before clocking out:
People stopped talking to me (stream slowed down).mp4

Complaining about people "not addressing him" in chat, after clocking out (not recorded for Youtube):
Not addressing me (unrecorded).mp4

Imagine complaining about making $90 for playing a game a little over 3.5 hours in an attempt to pressure people into forking over more money. I'd fucking hate myself.
I popped in for a little bit. He made some super obscure reference and asked if anybody got it. Then he got pissed off because some guy said that they don't give a shit about his stupid references. "Then why are you here?" I dunno, to watch some dipshit play video games??

That's the interesting thing. He is in huge denial that he is the constant in this. Tries so hard to figure out what makes him the most shekels per hour with his choice of games.

He has two very long, slow, narrative based games where he almost falls asleep(Judgement, Sinking City), a long fuck all jrpg that involves reading(ff9), Mario Maker 2 story mode of all fucking things, along with Brown Bricks and Toiletout.

These really do not work for him. I don't even have to explain why. He really does not know how to stream and honestly yeah, youtube is his archive. But he still cares about it and uses twitch as an extra platform to get extra money while he records for his youtube for shekels.

"frahgslahgsandcahgs cheered and said 'have you been hitting the bottle, you seem drunk and sweaty.'"

He seriously doesn't understand how dirty and terrible that shirt looks.

Couple minutes later as he's browsing the shop: "I NEED MONEY, yeah, I need four thousand," then he sells a bunch of things he isn't using from his inventory. Dude needs to learn this life lesson from Final Fantasy 9.

Just got a cheer asking him where he would go on vacation right now if he could choose anything. Note that this was from, as best I can tell, someone who's at least not an outright troll. Answer?

"Zimbabwe."

That was it.

Can't imagine why people don't "interact" more.
