Etika was a pretty loud, vocal member of the Smash Bros. community on YouTube. I've been familiar with him since the Smash 4 days when characters like Duck Hunt were being leaked, and since then it seemed like he never skipped a beat when it came to reacting to whatever character made it into Smash at the time, even after his mental break.

I was never a dedicated "Joy-Con Boy" or anything, but out of all the "reaction" YouTubers in his camp, as over the top as he may have been, he never came across as unlikable or obnoxious as some others and seemed genuinely happy with what he was doing. Unfortunate it all had to end like this, especially for what I can only assume was such a decent guy.

Hopefully his family and friends are finally at peace.
