As someone on the other end of screenplay submissions, I can tell you that those books are a joke, even if he sprung for an updated one. People in the industry are reading hundreds of scripts from ACTUAL screenwriters, daily. We have a special filing cabinet for scripts from these types of people: the trash can.
Not to mention nobody wants another god damn soulless Holocaust movie written by a goy.
Everybody either knows somebody or starts small first. Write a short, write an indie movie, get recognition, get in the WGA, sell a first feature length script. Not like Russ knows anything about starting small, working hard and paying your dues. Not to mention, if someone bought Russ's script SOMEHOW - it would be looked over and changed by re-writers, executives, etc to the point I know Russ would rage and shut everything down because he doesn't know how to play on a team.
