T. Greg Doucette / Thomas Gregory Doucette / greg_doucette / TGDLaw / fsckemall / lawdevnull / TDot - Super Lawyer, Failed Politician, Captain of The Threadnought, Drowning in Debt

Greg loves to take shots at Nick for Vic's gofundme, yet he and his family have a history of ebegging. His mom, Denise Zadawaski Doucette had a gofundme to raise money so she could leave her husband. Archive: http://archive.is/2wNSL Greg talks about it in one of his blog posts and put the link in the post Archive: http://archive.is/vHyI5 Greg says he loves his mom, but he also has contempt for her.

The GFM is a model of ethics in such things, with where it is going, how it is overseen, and what happens to any excess disclosed in advance. What the fuck did Greg do with all the excess money from his own GFM for vastly more than he needed for what he was collecting it for? Mysteries for the ages.

"Liberty and Justice. For All."

That's original.

Liberty and (Social) Justice. For the woke and the woke only.

TL;DR: He claims they aren't TI and that it's just "lawfare". Lawfare = "filing a totally meritless lawsuit, then sending a sh*tload of data preservation notices and subpoenas to people, hoping you find something you can use for character assassination with the end goal of making the defendants' lives so miserable they beg to pay you money to make it stop".

Edit: Doucette shows all of the currently known texts. I didn't screenshot all of the tweets, because he didn't add anything to them besides "here's the next batch" and I wanted to focus to be on what he actually said about the texts.

"I suspect if people look you'll find Ty leaked it to Nick"
he is just joining us, please give him a few weeks to catch up

So this guy ran for office in his state huh? I'm sure the voters are sighing in collective relief knowing they dodged this exceptional bullet.

Also anyone want to take bets that this dude deletes all these tweets as Vic starts winning this case?

Do you have any idea how much this fucking guy tweets? He's too lazy to read a case filing, I doubt he'd put any sort of effort to hide his tweets other than doubling or tripling his usual output to bury them.

Doucette's incredibly stupid "helpful" insight may bring Ron out of protected status against the wishes of his own lawyer. I like this super lawyer. I find his input valuable but not for any intellectual merits behind what he says. No, this sheppard may just get this flock of sheep back to open pasture for all to see. Lets hope he continues.

Be free my Lolcows!! Be free to roam and sperg out on the fertile fields of Twitter!

Casey doesn't have enough tard rangling ability to counteract our beloved cow liberator Greg.

So he's saying that it's a basic SLAPP suit, which are easily defeated by an anti-SLAPP motion? Which brings is back to the question of why Casey still hasn't filed such an obvious motion that would instantly win the case for his clients. Is Greg implying that Casey is too dumb to file a TCPA motion? or that he's too busy fleecing his clients by billing them for spurious and pointless filings? 🤔

Does he not even show the entire text conversation? Just the initial text from Ron?

Edit: Probably should've clicked the archive before typing.

He does release all of them if you check the archive.

Not that it matters, as the texts prove an attempt to fuck with Vic's contract specifically which IIRC according to the case law in TX, right up until the second the contract is actually canceled, constitutes tortious interference.

At this point he's not going to address the actual issue which is he's not mentioning the case law because Sen-pope and most of the law-squad are chortling over their inability to look up caselaw and that's enough for a dopamine hit.

My apologies. I left some of the messages out because he didn't say anything about them besides "Here's the next batch". Wanted to focus on what he had to say about them.
Wasn't my intend to mislead, will edit my post to reflect that.

He seems to claim that kamehcom solicited comments and gave him previlidge to communicate. Funny he showed a conversation initiated by Soye to support that.

That's a weird argument because the very thing he's citing very clearly indicates it's Ron opening the discussion about sponsorship, something clearly raised as a pretext to threaten to cancel it shortly thereafter, as well as to have Monica breach her contract, which is still illegal and I'm not sure where Douchette gets the idea threatening to breach a contract unless the person you're threatening breaches their contract with a third party is "privileged" somehow.

Ron did name himself as if the KC owner should already know him. "Also, this is Ron Toye if my number isn't saved in your phone. :)" That may just be a tad of ego on Rondala's part though.

Oh my god this is the most exceptional argument, you need to look at the actual tweets because archive doesn't capture all the screenshots he posts.

He takes the fact that the initial conversation (started by Soye) peters out on the 11th and then KC restarts it on 22nd, presumably due to pursuing the offer of almost completely free money to the tune of 5 figures and having not heard anything for a few days.

This does not change the fact that Soye's initial offer of sponsorship came first which was used as the proverbial Lucy's Football for Ron to pull his bullshit.

What he appears to be hanging his hat on is something Nick has touched on before, which I believe is the situation where someone specifically asks a third party about a party to a contract unprompted and then the third party responds to that request for information, and if this results in someone getting canceled that isn't TI.

I'm not clear on the legal specifics so feel free to correct my understanding, but it seems like even in the restarting of the conversation by KC, they did not ask about Vic unprompted in the restarting text, in fact Ron brought it up unprompted, at which point it is no longer unprompted request for information and thus not covered by this kind of exception...again, not super clear on the specifics of this legally myself but I distinctly remember discussion of that kind of situation by Nick at some point.

Why does anyone need to tell the world that their sister is in-firmed, their mother was beaten, and their nan is not doing well. On a blog post. IDK, maybe they might not want people to know? This guy is just fucked...
