I actually like that first one other than the faces. The anatomy and shading are well done, and the color choice is pleasant. But then you get to the faces and... bruh. Uncanny valley to the max. I hope they practice more with their faces, because unlike a lot of other artists in this thread they actually have talent. The Scooby Doo ones are... yikes.

I’m sorry for the double post but man, the Dragon Age fandom is just a goldmine.
What the actual fuck is this. I’m not one who tends to be harsh on art but there is nothing redeemable about this. Here is what this character actually looks like.
I had to read the tags on the post to figure out who it was. The character is the Casanova, Spanish accented, somewhat sleazy, unashamedly flirty sort of type. But the art makes him look like a homeless pot smoking hippy who sits around in parks and talks about the spirit energy in the trees as people passing by give him a wide berth.
And of course, some good old blackwashing because in this fandom whitewashing is a crime punishable by death but blackwashing is a-ok. Here’s the character in game.

idk how people haven't realized that the slimmer waist is a result of model rigging. Mei's default has a bulky coat--the skins without it are still rigged to those same points, even though the coat isn't there. It's not a purposeful move on Blizzard's part in any way.

I lurk on his twitter sometimes. He's a nutcase. Totally delusional about his art; chimps out at anyone with better art than his. Has no concept of character design or anatomy. Dunno if he's a full cow yet but he has a worrying amount of influence and his tweets gain a stupid amount of traction.
