At this point, the way I see it ProJared may take any of the three options.
Option 1: The most honorable thing to do is just leave the Internet and never look back. But I doubt he will do this anyway.
Option 2: He becomes an hero.
Option 3: He pulls a Randy Stair and then he becomes an hero.

What'll happen is he stays in hiding for awhile longer. I'd say two months max. He comes back with either a sob story video, or pretending like it's all forgotten and in the past, carrying on like regular before the fiasco.

There's always the Maddox ending: keep trying to brute force content nobody wants to watch to an audience that is doomed to decline until all that's left is the creator and his delusions. I don't think ProJared makes a lot of content on his main channel anymore, but it's never too late to get inspired.

If I was Jared, and I really didn't know those people were underaged, I would own it without any shame.
"Yeah I cheated and I don't present my excuses to anyone, it's my life, my choices, not yours".
"Yeah, I profited from my small celebrity to have fun with my fans, I didn't force anyone, what's the problem ?".
"Fuck all the people judging, nobody's clean nor perfect and certainly not Twitter dwellers".
"Oh and fuck you Heidi for shaming publicly you ex-husband you claimed to love for 7 fucking years and hid the fact that our relationship was fucked from a long-time ago, when you suggested to "open" it".
I don't know if it would work for him, but he'll sure gain a lot of respect from some people, me included. Plus, it would be entertaining to see him not bend the knee to Twitter/reddit court and imagine Heidi/her fans rage behind their computers.
He's used to make youtube video and be in front of cameras. I'm sure he could pull it off.
His current tactic of going silent and releasing half-assed written statements doesn't work and never will. You'll never pleased Twitter white-knights. In the situation he's in, you go for extreme measures. You don't try to explain yourself to strangers, you own it, fuck them and move on.

I do think he should call her out on her claim that she was there before he ever made his first Youtube dollar and supported him before he ever made it, when she has admitted they met because she knew who he was through ScrewAttack and AS A FAN went to an event to hook up with him. She was fine to take his money and fame and use it to propel herself until she didn't need him. She says she wanted to not be seen as using him for her own gain, but everything she has came from Jared being known. Saying the money meant nothing and she was there from the start before he made it is a fucking lie.
Anything he says against Heidi will just be waved off as "passing blame", instead of sharing it. It'll just end in people thinking he's deflecting instead of calling her out on her bullshit.

Frankly, I’m surprised he didn’t pull a Kevin Spacey in this whole situation. You can just see it now “all of the lust towards women, soliciting nudes, sending nudes, cheating on my wife, all of it was to run away from who I really am. I’m a gay man/transsexual, and that’s why I rate this whole ordeal as an amputated testicle out of ten.”
I don’t think his career will ever recover from this though. His only option was to roll with it and acknowledge everything.
Why do people never realize that apologizing and going silent is never the answer for public controversies.
I do agree that the white knighting for Heidi is getting exhausting by this point. Yeah, Jared is a scum bag, but she isn’t exactly innocent. She’s seen the support for her and abusing it like all women do when they get attention.
Jared really shouldn’t be playing the silent game. That may have worked if she was silent, but now all it does is make him look guilty of everything she says. And she’s clever at the manipulation too. Intentionally saying he has a big dick, which not only makes her look good, it makes it seem like she’s willing to protect him from thing still.
At this point, he needs to come public again and just start throwing shit back. Hell, if I were him, I would seek out a show like Keemstar that only does pointless internet drama and use that platform to fire back. Instantly giving his side more exposure than her.
Fuck, Jared, do something. Anything!

After how Keemstar was supporting Heidi and did an entire episode on the allegations backing her up, only for her to turn on him when he started pointing out the inconsistencies and lies by omission, he'd have no problems letting Jared come on and burn her alive.
I still think Jared is a piece of shit for decisions he made, but we've went over that so many times and there's not much more to say about him that hasn't been said enough over the last 189 pages. The general public won't be giving him any understanding or benefit of the doubt here, and Heidi going ballistic on anyone pointing out that she's not exactly blameless still has a lot of meat to it, while the Jared side has been picked to the bone.

That is always the best thing to do, especially when it's not as cut and dry as one person cheated, the other stayed loyal. They may want to spare each others feelings to try and make it amicable; but that was done the moment Jared took it to twitter. At that point.it's just an arms race for each other to release more and more details; should've just dumped everything in one go and been done with it.

Yes, he should throw everything out because there's probably a lot of stuff we don't know. He released two statements so far, statements Heidi more or less confirmed to be true and we learnt a LOT from those statements. We learnt Heidi lied, fucked other people too, she knew about Holly/Jared and that she "opened up" the relationship. Just imagine what we would learn if someone smarter than Jared is asking him questions, in an interview.
Like, "Do you think she might have known some of the fans you were solliciting were underage ?"
Or "Was she aware you were having a sexual relationship with Holly and did she encouraged it at some point, behind Ross's back ?".
Plus, by going public, on a show, by showing your face, you let people know you're not afraid. If you own it and don't excuse yourself, you show people you're not anyone tool. So far, Jared is taking it like a shrimp. He's trying to pass a more mature/level-headed person by going silent, but that doesn't work. He needs to embrace the drama and give us some entertaining moments.

I just read Heidi's tweets responding to Jared saying she wanted an open marriage.
Jared is still in the dog house about the whole "sending nudes to under age fans" thing. But Honestly I think Heidi is coming off as a bit of a bitch. So she essentially confirmed their marriage was "open". Okay so what do people in open marriages typically do? Have sex with other people. It's basically permission to cheat on your spouse. And she got mad because Holly wanted Jared all to herself? Well geewiz , Heidi, who would have thunk that open marriages were a total mockery of the concept of marriage?! Maybe you should have thought of that before agreeing to it. (Or initiating it, she or Jared could be lying about whose idea this was but it hardly matters now.)
Like seriously how can anyone be "honest" in a poly marriage. That is just idiocy.

Most people lie to themselves and don't think anyone is going to catch feelings. While I'm sure there are a few that work, and I do mean few; I'm willing to bet the participants are sociopaths or have some other behavioral disorder where they literally don't think of each other, but choose to stay together for other reasons. People may dress it up in cute words and ideas like consent and communication; but the numbers don't lie, an open relationship of any kind isn't stable, especially when it comes to emotions.

Polyamory is built on rules and trust. I don't think it works in practice (check our local polyamory thread for lulz) but it isn't just "fuck whoever you want". We don't know their express rules but most polyamory rules are some version of the following.
- Primary partner is #1, meaning if they aren't comfortable with something for any reason, it stops. A secondary relationship should never impact a primary one.
- New partners should be discussed and trusted. Typically this includes "no one we know", "no one we work with", "none of my friends", etc.
- Sexual safety should be paramount (condoms, etc) with extra partners as to not impact the primary partner.
- You should not engage in activities that would be embarrassing if found out, this primarily means identifiable pictures and videos but in Jared's case it probably included no fucking at "work" (cons, offices, other travel, etc).
They may have had more rules and it's unlikely we'll know what they are but the idea that it would have been "just fuck whoever, I don't care" is laughable, even from a poly stand point.
Even if Heidi was OK with some form of poly (coerced or otherwise) it's really doubtful she would be down with Holly as Jared's side bitch or with Jared sending out pictures to anyone (doubly so minors) with this face in it. It would also (by poly rules) not be OK for him to continue with any of it if she says it's no longer allowed (and vice versa) even if she was previously OK with it.

The thing I never liked about Heidi from the start is her hysterics, like so (even though this is a later tweet, it is illustrative of her tweet regarding the whole affair):

There is also tweets about how Jared controlled everything money-wise, yet she is still proud to have keep her business independent of him. It wouldn't be surprise if she got the idea for an open marriage/polyamorous relationship from either her therapist or some therapy groups connected to the therapist.
I've allude to this previously, but I feel like she could become a lolcow in her own right, providing Twitter advice despite a lack of any talents (well, she can make some pretty clothes, I guess; but I wouldn't call her an "artist" and I certainly wouldn't call cosplay to be talent of any sort) and qualification to provide any sort of advice. All while making various bad life choices or having low level social media feuds.
BTW, the Daily Heil and the Daily Dot have posted new articles regarding the story, allowing the housewives of Middle England and the woke SJWs of Coastal America, respectively, to keep up with the drama.

My thinking is this: while the "traditional", pre-Sexual Revolution idea for romance (i.e. start non-sexual dating during teenage years, find a suitable partner in your twenties, then getting married until death do part, all while having some kids along the way) was unrealistic to human nature and the circumstances of life, it was at least conceptually easy. This new ideal of Polyamory, requiring obligation of disclose, autonomy and reciprocity are probably just as unrealistic but also vastly more complicated. If some people cannot stick the simple scheme, what make them think that they can abide by the more complicated one?
Given how oblivious his Decent tweet was, this is the path Jared is going to take, IMHO. The biggest problem for Jared regarding YouTube is Miss Editor, his video editor, quitting. So he either has to get a new editor (hard given his reputation and probable lack of funds ATM) or do it himself, which will reduce the quality and quantity of videos.

SURVIVOR. TRAUMA. WOW.
You enjoyed the money he made. You called him controlling of the money but besides being a cosplayer did she even have a job? You opened up the marriage. You knew about Jared and Holly a year and a half before he was the one that filed divorce. He paid for the start of your business. He paid for your car. When he wanted out in October, you fought to keep the marriage going. What an insult to people that suffered actual trauma and are actual survivors. Sorry your husband fell for someone else when you opened up your marriage. Sorry you're haunted by the memory of just spending his money and using his fame to prop up your hobby-turned-career. It must be really tough being traumatized by your husband not wanting to be with you any more. It must be really hard that he helped pay for your new place to live, and your car, and gave you the kickstart to your fame that you'd basically have nothing without, and the only thing you knew was that he was sleeping with someone else that you knew about a year and a half ago. So hard. So traumatic. Such a survivor.
