I don't think Elon can yet hold a candle to Peter Thiel.

He would have to do what Peter Thiel did.

He SHOULD do what Peter Thiel did.

Please Elon.

Do what Peter Thiel did. :story:
Tweet him that. Doubtful he reads here. However as he's against AI (especially rogue AI) he's likely to be against NPC programming as that falls into the AI category.

Brainlet Soye says they're going after Nick once the lawsuit with Vic is over. Nick seems unfazed.

With what? They are likely going to be 7 figures underwater and kickvic alumni don't seem to do well with crowdfunding.

Then there's the fact that Nick is a Lawyer so he massively reduces his own costs by doing the legwork. He will have a Lawyer bill but that lawyer will have Nick doing a lot of work on his own case.

Curious as to who Toye will be robbing from to fund his defense. The simple act of having his attorney read through/respond to 400+ pages of his tweets isn't cheap (let alone adding Rials)

Edit: Also seems to not understand opinion as well as what can be factually proven. Ah well there's a message about a fool and their money being easily parted in their somewhere.

So one thing I continue to question is why now? Or rather why did this apparent conspiracy start during sometime mid to late 2018. And I think I might have got it.

Dragon Ball Super: Broly was originally announced December 2017. At the time, there was very little info on it. For example it even lacked a proper title.

As more info came out, speculation ran rampant in the fan community as to the actual plot to the film. For the longest time, there was only a teaser trailer with only revealing what looked like a Saiyan fighting Goku in an icy/snowy plane. That is until July 2018 when Toei officially revealed the story would revolve around Broly and revealed it's proper title.

My current theory is that whatever group inside Funimation with a vendetta against Vic saw this as the opportunity to kick him out. As casting and production on the dub started, someone ran it through Toei to see if they could recast Vic. Toei likely not seeing any reason to do it, wanted Vic to continue portraying him just as his Japanese counterpart would. I believe this is where the rumor pops up that Toei hand selected Vic. They likely did not do it more than a decade ago when Funimation was dubbing the original movies. But when someone tried to get him recast, Toei decided to officially select him for the role again.

Obviously, this is still just a theory and should be taken with a huge grain of salt. What do you all think?

Soye's plan is to give them too much evidence. It'll cause Ty Beard to explode like an anime villain that absorbed too much energy.

I think I saw someone else say that a few hundred pages ago:

"If I keep making defamatory statements, Vic's lawyers won't be able to keep up with them and give up on the lawsuit."

Sound strategy you got there Soye.

Maybe McFarland?

I've wondered for a while if Vic himself asked his closer VA friends to not get involved and risk their jobs. Just seems like something he'd do based on what we've seen of him.

Well, he asked everyone to not fight for his sake and get themselves embroiled, presuming from him doing that at his panel at Bak-Anime.

Yes. He's kept relatively quiet since Vic got reinvited to KC. Can't tell which side he's on definitively. I've seen this post when it first came out on her Twitter. According to Terez replying to a later post, She mentions that VoiceofMalzar on Twitter claimed that Strait and Schemmel backed down after they did that as they were afraid of retaliation from Vic and his brother. Where was this video posted originally ?

This is my reminder that Sonny Strait is certainly Kickvic but pretending to take the high ground. He had DMs back in February where he said one of the worst things you can say in accusation. He said he was privy to stuff and that it was "worse than we imagine". He then waffled on whether he actually knew stuff for a while or had just learned about it. He is NOT 'neutral', rather he's KickVic but smart... in otherwords, as things heated up he took to high ground and morally neutral language then faded out of the conversation instead of acting truly exceptional like Toye(flaming from then till now) or Schemmel(who went out in an 'exceptional' blaze of glory with the SWATT-ing stuff before disappearing from the conversation.)

What possible angle do they have that they can use against Nick? He's already tried, and failed, multiple times to get him disbarred and the worst thing Nick has ever called him is Soye.

ASSUMING Toye isn't full of shit and has some smoking gun showing Vic committing actual sexual assault(x), then I assume he's going to file another ethics complaint over Nick making the perfectly rational assumption that allegations presented without evidence and backed by an online witch hunt were false. Which will promptly get dismissed.

Some people here seem to fundamentally misunderstand the Wiedenheft story.

The police did not randomly kick down his door and find child porn on his (allegedly) second hand HD. That doesn't happen, because they need probable cause to suspect him and execute a search of his computer.

The state's narrative is that he offered to share the files with others, and as a result of that, his IP was traced by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE). Naturally, FDLE got a warrant. Then they did a search. Then they busted his ass.

Sarah's story about a second-hand HD is dumb, because even in the extremely unlikely chance that's how he initially came into possession of the files, the state was tipped off by his attempt to share them.

"Hey guys, there's some CP on this old HD I bought. Anybody want it?"

Sarah is not being genuine.

Also, not to beat a dead horse, but this is the best part:

Even her shit about the public defender is somewhat disingenuous. Fun fact is that he tried to claim indigence on $40,000/yr income (to qualify for representation by the public defender). That was rejected (see below). He's not using a public defender because the court has determined he's got the money to afford his own attorney.

Here's the state's version of events:

Nick is a criminal defense attorney. Even though he's pro-Vic, I don't think he has a lot of love for prosecutors. He'd have no compunction with saying charges levied by the state are bullshit. I think Nick clearly thinks Bradley is legitimately boned on this one though, and it's not hard to see why.

So one thing I continue to question is why now? Or rather why did this apparent conspiracy start during sometime mid to late 2018.

Because the Feminist/radical left groups have been pushing metoo as the current 'most important thing EVAH!. Yes, a portion of this situation predates the metoo hysteria, however the past 'rumored' accusations against Vic were like a screaming neon sign to the SJW set to run the metoo scam on him as the killing blow.

SJWs only ever follow and this is a major page of the intersectional feminism script for destroying men/christians/political enemies. So when metoo'ing ones way into the spotlight and into power became a thing, they jumped on the train with vigor. Win/win for the cause and 'their' cause.

Look what Gamergate did for Quinn and Sarkesian. Evil mysogynistic men and their sexual notions/activities O-pressin' the whamminz. It took them from obscurity to the United Nations.
