The more I read about the Love-Shies and the SlootHaterz and the PUAs and the Red Pillocks, the more I see that they're all trying to get the same thing, just from different angles. But I don't think that thing is sex or love or DSR or whatever else they call intimacy with the opposite gender. What they're trying to get is control.
As much as these guys hate each other, they've all bought into the bullshit notion of the Real Man(TM). A Real Man(TM) must Always Be Closing, he is Master of His Domain and the Leader of the Pack. He's John Wayne and James Bond and Marlon Brando all at once. He is confident and assertive and he always gets what he wants, no matter what it is, because it's impossible for him not to get it. Because a Real Man(TM) has control. Not just over themselves, because any beta shmuck has control over themselves, but over everything and everyone. Nothing is outside the control of the Real Man(TM). If something was outside of that control, that would mean that there's a chance that he might not win, and the Real Man(TM) always wins.
But the Real Man(TM) doesn't exist any more than Barbie does, because no one has the degree of control necessary to dictate their entire lives, let alone a relationship with another autonomous human being. But these sad sacks want it so badly, and they fear the lack of it so much, that they dedicate their lives to figuring out how to control everything. The PUAs and Red Pillocks advocate game and memorized routines to artificially constrict social interaction into having only one possible outcome. The Love-Shies and SlootHaterz use evolutionary psychology and biometrics from the University of Their Ass to rigidly define and predict the actions and preferences of the gestalt entity known as "women." Holden wanted to videotape a prospective girlfriend having sex with a dog before dating her, so that he could publish it and ruin her forever if she left him. No matter what angle they use, it's all for the same reason: to control things (and people) that aren't them.

I want to know what "Confidence Mafia" meant before it was redirected to Personalitism! I'm imagining a clique of smooth, well-dressed wise guys, gathering around women like they're untaxed cigarettes and roughing up anyone who approaches with insufficient confidence.

There would also be the option of typing "heart public domain image" into Google.I noticed something looked... off about the logo and did a bit of investigating (AKA 90 seconds in GIMP with the magic wand, colorize, and mirror tools) and. And well...
It's not fucking symmetrical, how do you even manage that? It's a heart, you draw half of it, Ctrl-C, H-Mirror, Ctrl-V. Like I know this is massive nitpicking but... I dunno to me it screams of supreme laziness.
