I recently rejoined the local political fray in Pillockshire and elsewhere in a campaigning group for various regional issues. Another, seemingly larger, regional organisation invited us to a meet and myself and another went along despite the fact we'd wind up in a city that was hosting a match day.

Now, our own public meetings can vary anywhere from 25-30 people minimum to 100. There's a lot of civic pride and passion in our little corner of England and our facebook page does far easier as its only a quick click.

When we turned up to the public meeting, complete with a listing, itemized agenda looking super professional.

We found one guy in a suit.

Who then informed us that last month they had a "very good public meeting when 8 of us attended."

And yes, he seemed very proud of those 8.

Then to top it off this asshole who calls himself the world's only professional va is so replaceable that even our drunk lawyer can voice his char in english. Forget comparing this asshole to japanese va's because when it comes to talent he isn't even worth being compared to local talents like Troy.

No hate to Nolan and Troy, they are pros of the highest order. And the Japanese VA's should get verified because they are the ones working on the anime first and are the true VA's of anime and I will say the same for the VA's that voice in a series native language. Chris may have raised DB up in the west but he sure as hell burning down just as well, that fucker didn't invent anime because he wasn't even born yet.

Reminder that, unless you are one of the legendary mangakas that created or marked an era, like Toriyama, Osamu Tezuka and more, the VAs are usually even more famous, in Japan, than the mangakas that created the franchise they voice. Once again, with the legendary mangakas mentioned before being the exceptions.

And mangaka in general tend to prefer to keep themselves and their identities as private as possible. They aren't exactly known for being social butterflies. Good luck finding pictures of most popular mangaka in the first place. The most recent picture of Toriyama for example happened cause some reporter snagged around the time he got named in the Panama Papers cause Toriyama's accountant is retarded.
