To put Ralph's excuse in perspective, he's saying he's too sick to sit in a chair and talk for a couple hours with a co-host or two to pick up his slack. I'm willing to bet good money that there are many people genuinely on the verge of death who could accomplish that. I get not feeling well and wanting to take a night off but when your viewership, average super-chat amount, and Patreon are all declining then every missed show is another nail in the coffin.

I can't even begin to fathom the idea of someone in such a delicate state even considering the idea of taking a break. I bet a sizable chunk of viewers permanently stop watching when their nightly habit is broken. He should of at-least had someone else run the show or something. Hasn't that been done before? I'm sure dick could of done it for a few days or something. Or maybe Zidan took care of all that? ?

Also, I'm mostly joking, but I bet having his arch-nemesis Sargon on to host a few multi hour long news jams in his place would bring lots of viewers. Especially if it was unannounced or just hidden as a special guest host. That would rile the fuck out of people.
 
I think its fair to say that whenever Ralph's says he is staying sober, he really isn't, and is drinking the edge off, OR he only makes it a day. The only time you will be able to take him serious on anything having to do with sobriety will be if he starts 12 steps or goes to an institution. Being sober is a 24/7 job, and he can barely handle 3-4/5. Though his mom's organ failure(@Lord Akira correct?) could be do to pharmaceutical drugs, I would lean that it had to do with the bottle, so Ralph could just be predisposed to it. The jailtime probably put him on the wagon for a while, he actually looked pretty good when he got out, It all went down hill when he somehow fell for the "drinking makes you cool" meme in his fucking 30's, for STREAM "PERFORMANCE" of all things. He has aged his body by a decade in a matter of months, that pretty much makes it un-debatable he at least has a habit at this point. So I'm betting he goes out like mama Ralph.

Correct, his mother has both liver and dual kidney failure requiring dialysis, match that up with his dad's propensity for bourbon as Ralph stated in his article along with his passing of "natural causes" at 64; and I would reckon some fairly serious addiction issues are in his genes from the get-go, along with overall poor health if not addressed with a good diet and some moderate exercise. His emergence from jail sober and 100 pounds lighter is a testament to that, but as the walls close in, I can see him spiraling into full-blown lushhood quite soon.

After the way he treated Carl of Swindon I can't imagine him ever giving Ralph a single fuck. I'm pretty sure if someone told me they were glad my child was stillborn I would revel in their failures.

Father died at 64 so Ralph is Middle-Aged already. I keep waiting for the "I'm going back to prison..." announcement when he can't control himself and does something stupid like streaming lewd pictures of underage girls under the guise of "helping expose a child pornography ring on Discord".

Having Sargon of all people on his show to prop it up would in my opinion be pretty revel like. I'd like to make my enemies rely on me for their e-survival. Humiliating. It was just a silly idea, though.
