What was weird for me was that Soph kept quiet for the last half of the stream but she shot back up to tell the hosts to allow a specific caller in. And that specific caller had a script prepared and used the same talking points Soph tried to use.
Doesn’t Soph have her brother write her talking points?
Did we unknowingly listen to the real mind behind Soph?
 
I think the bigger problem here is how a man is debating a child on a livestream. That shit is fucking weird. It's weird enough that anyone in this crowd would let a child into their livestream for discussion with the 14/88 chats and shit.

We all know the problem when kids are too liberal in what they say online and get found out when their older. (Deviant art accounts) this ain't much better. It's actually fucking bad, you dont bring kids into shows like this.

The only person I haven't seen sperg out at Destiny in a debate is Jim, because he didn't even bother debating him, he just used his time to wind him up and call him a manlet. He even said in a Sunday stream once that he doesn't want Destiny to get kicked off of twitch because he creates a good shitshow. In a way, he probably respects how much he can make Tonka and the like sperg out with relatively little effort. It's a fucking talent.

Venti came on after Destiny left apparently. He didn't want her on, probably because he knew she'd fuck with him instead of debating.

A little late, but I can clarify something. Dispatch never used an IP scrapper, he only logged chats on different streams. He jokingly said it one day and Ralph and others took it at face value to smear him. Any doxing he was involved in was at a superficial level with the paypiggies. Their full names were linked to Patreon, I believe.
 
Has Destiny ever taken part in a debate with a proper moderator? One to actually force him to back up what he says, give time to the other side and keep them on topic? Because I doubt he has much backbone to him if he can't continuously shit out of his mouth until the other person just stops trying to press him on the metric ton of bullshit he puts out there.

I'd agree with most of your post, except this particular point. Depending on the specific context, empirical sense data can absolutely be more reliable than second hand sources which may or may not have an agenda. I've seen enough bad research to know this firsthand. Indeed, Destiny's tendency to treat studies as biblical authority is the main reason I'd categorize him as a pseudo-intellectual.

Fuentes seems to have jumped in to get in Destiny's face after being repeatedly called a Nazi in absentia. Venti, I think, just likes fucking with Little Stevie

I'd say Ape definitively won, but not on any of the points of the debate. He very clearly went in with a goal of pissing off Little Stevie by using his own tactics against him. In sports terms, he provoked a disqualification

Somehow, at least in the first go around, Sargon and Destiny appeared almost equally retarded... which is why I couldn't even press play on any subsequent rematches

He also argues that the privilege of pre-emptive political violence only goes one way, which if you follow the train of thought through as Little Stevie tries to do to other people's arguments, pretty clearly creates an oppressed class of people who, by his own logic, should now have the privilege of enacting pre-emptive political violence. Why nobody rubs his face in this stupidity escapes me... but, hey, look at who he picks to argue against

Yeah the issue with the Dank is that he was trying to make empirical claims using youtube videos that would be better suited to an actual study. Doesn't mean what studies are already out there are necessarily accurate but to make the claims he made you need a study for that, youtube does not cut it. It came across as a "anecdotes are just data points" moment to me I guess (this could just be my autism acting up because of my background).

Don't get me wrong, I'm sympathetic to the view that studies should be held with skepticism but that doesn't invalidate the merit of proper studies it just means we need a better culture around them.

The Prussian Blue girls live a fairly normal life; people are pretty forgiving of kids saying stupid shit especially when they're obviously parroting stuff they learned from their caregivers. And by then, Little Stevie will have pissed off enough people on both sides of the aisle to be permanently offline
