Exactly!! I didn't know people could be gay until embarassingly late, but I knew about trannies because like a lot of medium sized towns, we had "that weird woman who's really a man", so I knew it was a thing. I assumed for a while that because I liked other boys, I must be a girl.
Thank god I'm 26 and not half that! My parents are fairly liberal so they'd accept me if I were trans, but they're not the rabid SJWs who'd push me to it - I think.
