I could be wrong, but I thought Jim did the morning show thing because he wanted to try to fill an opening he saw in the programming schedule. Also I don't think it was meant to be a permanent change to scheduling. Most internet people offload their shit to the evening or night time (US time) not the early morning. Dunno if it is right to say that Jim hates his audience, but he's definitely willing to play games with them for his own amusement.

As far as superchats go, they've got to be reworked. They're just awful and I don't know how to make them better.

No but really there's definitely an unhealthy cult vibe amongst his audience. When you take into account just how often he's nuked his internet identities, it seems doubtful that he wouldn't hate the vast majority of his fanbase.

I think these are related, but not in the way you lay out. The cult like vibe is a by-product of the people who obsessively scour youtube trying to find his new main account when the existing one gets nuked. Once they find the promised land, they're not leaving until it's burned down again.

It seems to me that he also inadvertently feeds this behavior to some degree by popping in on tiny streams unannounced, not archiving the streams consistently, and occasionally revealing an alt account or really old events on long gone forums and also telling people about this later or saying that there's more out there but he's not going to share. It's perfect "record collector" or "completionist" bait given the already displayed spectral tendencies of the segment that's been getting under Null's skin since the Tootering (publicly at least)
