The robotussin comment is actually what irked me the most.

Guys I'm getting flashbacks from Nam.. uh... I mean when I was 6 or 7. Actually, this is more like what would have happened if I had actually gone through with my stupid idea.

So like a lot of kids I got really really mad at my parents for something stupid like having to go to bed because of school in the morning and I thought that if I just ran away to my club house near the creek I could do what I wanted and stay up late. Well, it never happened but if I'd done it this is sort of what I imagine it would be like. Starving and not having a fun time due to no money and me being a stupid kid. Less weed of course because I didn't really know what that was back then.

This is what happens when people live on their own but are too dumb to live on their own and I can't wait to see who gets introduced next. Eli is fun but has to be in the running for biggest idiot on the planet.

Speaking as someone who used to use pot on a daily uses. "Rasin" is the leftover of Pot. Usually a black after thought left over on bong or pipe residue of smoking. If gathered it can contain some TCH if smoked but doing this is often a size of using much more than is required. As another comment mentioned, seeking this out if often a symptom of being desperate for the high of weed. I understand Jace is low on "Welfare" but resorting to rasin is last minute efforts of either someone cleaning their piece or someone really looking to get high. Obviously, Jace is desperate, and without his medication. If he's on a benso I can't understand his withdrawal as most of this family takes place quickly and is easily abused. If he's on something like an anti psychotic obviously it would take weeks for it to take place but no matter what he's on if he's being on honest with his doctor he should be taking his medication I speaking as with someone with bipolar I wouldn't be where I am without my meds. It's amazing what one little pill a day will do to be honest. I don't like to turn the topic on to me to but I used to be heavily suicidal and now I'm living my life alongside college and a job.
I hate to go to the worse case scenario but spending on medication of Jace is on it could be a make or break on his entire life.

$40 dollars could buy a nub or three. Nothing amazing depending on where you live.

Where I live $50 is usually enough for a week or so depending on how much you use or enough to share for a party with about 5 for more friends. If Jace is paying for Eli's weed, assuming he's a major light weight and easily to get high, no matter the situation Jace is behind on his so called "bills".

It sounds like Jace is talking about smoking weed he has already used in his vapouriser.

I vape fairly often because I gave up smoking last year, so I tend to avoid other methods of blazing. Maybe I need to check my weed privilege, but smoking the dry, dessicated remains after you've vaped up all the goodness seems like a waste of time.

Where I'm at $40 gets 3.5 grams of quality weed. Top-tier stuff is usually $45-50. Some of the shit commonly referred to as "dro" or "bc bud" (dense generic seedless indoor) is usually $25-30. Brick crap full of seeds and stems is like $80-100 for an ounce.

This CAN mechanically mean resin. Again, this is absolutely desperate.
Usually on cleaning a piece, there is left over black like I said if gathered enough can be high enough to produce some TCH. If Jace is simply lighting up a left over pipe he has serious issues. Not only will this burn the pipe but it's useless. I don't know a thing about vaporizers but if they act like pipes, rasins can be cleaned and used but not as much as bongs, pipes, so on.
All and all it's a desperate measure. Unless he's used a lot, and I mean A LOT without cleaning, there's no point in smoking what you just cleaned up.
