Social Justice Warriors - Now With Less Feminism Sperging

This tweet appeared on my timeline. I just want to say that it's insulting that she compares SJWs to people who actually worked hard to bring actual justice. If anything, the modern equivalent would be people running individual media, who are going against the mainstream media that have been espousing SJW beliefs for years.

Nope, all those people were Social Justice Activists. There is a difference. An activist will see a building with no wheelchair ramp and petition to get one built. An SJW will look at the same building and just start shaming everyone going in for being able to walk and probably call them Nazis. Then they'd stop giving a shit altogether once they find a new issue to virtue signal over.

Ehhhhh... SJWs do like petitions too though. Maybe more like: An SJW will look at the same building and petition to have the whole building lowered three feet, or petition for government funded hoverchairs, or something equally unreasonable.

Those people worked their asses off for what they believed in. They faced harassment, possible jailtime, and violence (not "violent" words, actual violence against them and their families) on a daily basis. The road to equality was hard, but these people persevered, and through their actions they helped make America a better place.

To try to compare these people to SJWs pretty much amounts to pissing all over their graves.

Those people wanted to actively contribute to society and knew that with equal rights came equal obligations. All the SJWs want is, I guess, some kind of bubble where they can have diapersexual polycules and nobody is allowed to criticize them.

Not only are they not activists, but they don't stand for any meaningful kind of social justice. The kind of world where Laquanda can't feed her kids cause she got fired from her shitty mcjob for misgendering a suburban banker's nonbinary teen is what they're creating, not some rainbow utopia. No amount of hot takes on the inherent brownness of sailor moon or whatever will improve conditions for people IRL.

An SJW would see the stairs, the wheelchair ramp, and petition to have the stairs removed to get rid of "ambulatory privilege" and expect asspats for it.

MLK: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."

SJWs: 'REEEEEE white boy on cover of Esquire Covington boys are evil racists Jussie Smollett hate crime dreadlocks are cultural appropriation fuck white people.'

I can see why she thinks they're the same.

Look at the people bitching about these controversies on twitter. Its 90% white sjws, or some mixed chick whose job it is to write angry thinkpieces in The Root.

I thought leftists loved and wanted racial reparations, for instance. I guess when you have a hate boner for Kamila Harris you forget all the principles you supposedly have. Also no one will dare run left of Bernie, they'll be too busy reeing over the wall to call for actual leftist shit.

Does the Captain Marvel, Brie Larson, deserve a thread or to be called an lolcow? She spews your typical American SJW shit. Honestly, in the weeks leading up to Wonder Woman, I didn't hear Gal Gadot spewing this kind of stuff. Though it maybe because Gal's not American and seems more like the type to just do whatever the studios CEOs tell her to do and say.

In the Captain Marvel thread here there is a bunch of other articles on the stuff Brie Larson has said.

"Brie Larson Wants Less White Men On Captain Marvel Press Tour"

And she'll be flabbergast when nobody comes to see the movie, blaming it muh soggy knees or something..... how do these people not get that you can't brow-beat an audience to see your movie, unless you live in a dictatorship and can force it at gunpoint?

Well I know what movie I won't watch.

Brie Larson said she wants to help use Captain Marvel as her form of "activism". When Captain Marvel was co-directed and co-written by a man, produced by a man, based on characters created by men, and it looks like her two of biggest supporting characters, Nick Fury and Captain Mar-vell are both men.

So I'm not sure where her "activism" for "women rights" will fit in and how she'll avoid "white men" or men in general when her movie is chalk full of them.

The film will do well simply because it has the MCU logo and is the last film before Avengers 4. But some people have very high expectations for this movie and will probably be shocked when it doesn't live up to them.

I'm expecting it to be a good movie - I generally like the MCU movies - but that it will be elevated beyond its quality much like Black Panther was. I thought Black Panther was really fun, but being told constantly that it was important and groundbreaking and a necessary movie instead of just a fun popcorn film made me like it less - and it certainly wasn't last year's Best Picture. It wasn't even last year's best MCU movie.

I'm still in awe that there were things like the tweet from the white woman asking when she could see Black Panther, because she felt like it would be appropriating the black experience to see it opening weekend.

Now that's just silly. The black experience would be to torrent it.
