Further more, they're releasing a new "
Ultimate Guide to the Star Wars universe" in October to get people "hyped" for the IX (its the same guides they've been releasing every other six months since TFA to try and explain plot holes, inconsistencies and unexplained shit like how the Starkiller's beams could be seen throughout the universe on multiple planets all at the same time). Seems some are complaining that its misleading due to its description claiming that it covers all the SW films/eras but in actuality it only covers the the pre-Disney films and TFA. Another common complain about these new guides and the Disney SW Universe is that despite only being 5 years old, its more bloated, confusing and hard to follow than the original, despite that the original had over 30+ years of content, so in less than 5 years Disney has already managed to saturate what some shills thought would be a smaller and easier to follow canon and narrative (made all the more ironic with how small the universe feels now due to over-relying on cameos from the films, Rebels and Filoni Wars). All the while publishing more shitty and contradictory content than their predecessors ever did within a smaller time frame but with far fewer games and all the while leaving the authors Disney has hired in a disgruntled state. Heckle the old EU all you want, but it took them 30 years to get cluttered and George had people like Chee constantly monitor and rewrite inconsistencies, unlike Disney which just does not give a shit. And if anyone points these issues out, you get labeled a russian bot alt-righter for going against the true holders of the IP (Disney) and being disgusted at anyone, even George, for daring to speak against the "new and true lords of Star Wars". This kind of cultish brand/company loyalty is getting out of hand. These people would eat literal shit if Disney marked it as a "must own" piece of officially canon SW merch.
