Not to sound insensitive, but I have my doubts with what the victims say about him. They seem sort of rehearsed and stretch the truth about their actual encounter. He's been photographed and recorded enough times at cons and you would think that would match up with the allegations.
Like people don't take into account that fans can get very excited and want hugs from their idols. And I find it odd that Vic only gets flak for it and not other VAs who probably had similar encounters with their fans. I can understand how that sort of affection can make people uncomfortable but I wouldn't equate it to sexual harrassment or rape.
Now if everyone knew this was going on for a over a decade why remove him now? It seems to me the people against him have some sort of narrative to push and skeletons to hide. It doesn't help that people are resorting to shady tactics, like taking a fan's photo out of context to make it look non-consensual.
I want to at least believe people when they tell me if they've been abused by someone. But it seems like nowadays I have to question whether they are truthful about what they claim. I really dislike it when people lie about sexual assault because it makes it harder for people who have been through it to get the help they need.

Rumors about Vic were old when I was on the con circuit about 15 years ago. I remember the first time I went to one where he was a guest, heading to the panel, and people pulling me to the side and telling me stories and encouraging me not to go talk to him. But they were reeeeeal quiet about it and didn't make a scene. It was just sort of an open secret that Vic 'Mangina' was shit, but he had friends, usually people running the show, who would cover for him and throw you out if they caught you spreading 'unsubstantiated rumors'. I never really interacted with the guy to say if I got that vibe though, I wasn't a fan of his cornball voice acting anyway so avoiding him was easier.
So on one hand I will be negative surprised if it all turns out to be true, because it more or less falls in line with what I've been told for over a decade. On the other, the fact the accusations against him sounds verbatim like a bunch of dicey rumors that are old enough to drink kinda makes me wonder if that's the whole story. I'm no fan so I got no dog in defending him, but there's something about the whole thing that just keeps niggling at me.
Who would figure the world of cartoon voices could be so grim?

I hate cumulative accusations because there's a wide gap between kissing a fan on the cheek for a photo and having sex with a child. Women chase aggrievement like cats chase mice. I'm not going to condemn a dude for being a jackass.

I mean, if they want to be rid of him for being an asshole, they could have done that all along legitimately. Why make shit up and cause undue amounts of easily avoidable drama that leads to ruined careers and reputations, fractured interpersonal relationships and the possibility of some lawyers making bank should the legal option be pursued?
Because woke points can't fix any of that shit.

Evidence doesn't always have to be on camera or video. It can come in the form of spoken or written. For example Vic's statement is evidence but the stories from Twitter are also evidence. Let's not forget that a good portion of his victims are children, and no they cannot legally consent.
These tards really think doctoring photos is gonna slide? They're so badly shooped and nobody is gonna fall for it.

I dont know, maybe because he is a known voice actor with a fanbase. That could be a reason. maybe they didnt want to piss off his fanbase just because of some rumors.
well sorry but ''stories from twitter'' are not evidence of anything. If we talk about written evidence: facebook, instagram or other social media private exchanges could do the trick just fine. If those are already out in the wild, then I can understand this kind of reaction and him being fired.

That's not how the woke brigade works. They actually like making up lies and whipping up hate mobs to destroy their daily sacrifice.
I used to tend to assume any accusation of something like this was true, but the "listen and believe" crowd has changed my mind and I now just immediately assume they're lying until proven otherwise.
