I don't remember the issue number, it was like 7-8ish. It was the one where Cera, Robbie, Crystal and/or whatever other Sonees and Rosees drink bleach and subsequently die. It was really dark for Chris' standards...the one picture that creeped my out was the one where Rosechu suffocates her last child...just the odd 6-year-old art style mixed with the image of a cartoon character pressing a pillow to the face of her brain-dead child whist the word "Gurgle" hangs in the air got to me. Why did he make that one? At the end, after Sonichu shoots himself(and is apparently reborn) he tells us about how one little action can have consequences...I guessed it was some sort of shattered heart tie-in, but what could have been that bad to make that disturbing issue?
-_- I totally knew that...I looked at it when I first learned of CWC...I should have looked at it again now, that's definitely not TRUE and HONEST CWC work. I should have known better than to think that Sonichu would have an admittedly sad ending
I don't care if it's edgy or A-loggy, I love Fear and Loathing in CWCville. From time to time I like to go through with while listening to Penderecki. Too bad Xanabit's DA page isn't active anymore, but I'm positive he went on to do greater things.

I remember it was pretty hard. I work as an art director in an advertising agency, so I’m pretty good at drawing and illustration. I remember redoing some pages because my natural tendency was to go with cleaner lines and better composition and the end result did not look very CWC at all. I also tried to draw holding the pen like Chris does, which was very unnatural but helped.

I’ll probably scan it and reupload it this weekend as I think the few places that still host it may be missing pages or they may not be in order. There were two parts: in the first part there’s an exciting battle that basically takes place in long-ass speech bubbles and ends in the death of a bunch of characters, while Reginald gets fresh with Rosie and the kids. Part two is the one where all the deaths happen and Sonichu ends up divorcing Rosie.
I basically stopped following Chris a few years ago and had forgotten about the comic until I found it recently. Last night I got curious and decided to see what’s going on with him and came across this thread.
