I admit that at first, I thought it was some kind of civil shitwar, that's why I whiteknighted her in the first pages of the thread.

Once I saw all the stuff she had done, I stopped defending her and just tried to calm her down in private.
She just wanted me to go around insulting/begging mods and Kiwis in her stead, and I said nein.

I thought what you were doing at the time was rather honourable, Heinrich. You gave her the benefit of the doubt, which others were also affording her. I remember complimenting balcolm and Sneasel for not being totally heartless in the the early stages, because I, and obviously many others, thought she could possibly redeem herself a little. Not everyone here is utterly ruthless and out for blood at any cost. Don’t feel bad for having a heart, Heinrich, or regret your actions. The turning point for most of us was when Sneasel dropped the pastebin chat logs. It was evident that she squandered every opportunity, all advice, and every olive branch he offered. She was then an irredeemable halal and currently an irredeemable cow.

Shit, even with all of the exceptional shit she spewed all over the internet, I was willing to give her some leeway... except she STILL hasn't learned a damn thing. She was handed a shovel and just kept digging herself deeper instead of, say, having a good laugh at herself.

I think that's the thing that makes me sad about this whole mess. Harriet could have defused this right from the beginning. She'd been on this site long enough to know what happens when someone gets halal'd. Instead she made all the wrong moves and pissed away all the sympathy and goodwill she'd garnered because she just couldn't control her lolcow tendencies. It's almost like one of those Greek tragedies where the heroine is undone by her own hubris, except way more autistic.

Lagoona sounds pretty brattish and ungrateful for somebody that was willing to use null's website for so long. I get the impression she'd love to control Chris' finances and life as a sickening form of troll-shielding and possessive control.
