That is because Colossal went about it morality wise on Shadman's own stream and he did not mention shadman being this way at all and probably didn't know.
He went about it all wrong and against someone who pretends to be edgy online because using morality against an edgy persona which will only help give creedance to them.

This is because edgy people get people offended often thus giving him a form of troll sheilding as now he has proof that people will get very upset over what he does and people are trying to silence him.

And the court case probably only made the fanbase come closer as a threat of something they liked being removed as they probably viewed that a free speech issue and allowed shadman to gain money off of victim status of "big company attacking independent small artist."

If shadman was faced with probably an actual edgy person like someone from the older days of 4chan they would more able crack the fake edgy persona and expose him for what he actually is.

The only way to show people like shadman's true colors is to basically pressure them to the point they expose themselves with someone who is actually that way or someone who can one up them.

Thing about people that do that is that they need momentum which Shad lacks. He has no work ethic at all opting for "whenever I feel like it" mentality. I'd also say you can only "shock" people for so long until they get use to your material.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand the art of Shadman. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of challenging dark humor most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer’s head. There’s also Shad´s charismatic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from loli rape doujins, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they’re not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Shadman truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the humour in Shad´s existential catchphrase “SHE IS 18 FOR ME!, ” which itself is a cryptic reference to John K. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Shadman’s genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. :lit:

And yes, by the way, i DO have a SHADMAN tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for the ladies’ eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they’re 12 years old (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid 8)

People who he shat on recently by bitching about their anti loli/shota stance on twitter, he literally told people newgrounds was not "legit", trying to drive away users. What's up with that? I'll tell you what's up with that, DRRRRAAAMMMAAAA! Shad's circle has been distancing from him for a long time and this might be some passive aggressive retaliation on little shads part, he'll show them!
