SonicFox isn't really a flavor of the week type of furry celeb. He has some fame in the esports community but inside the fandom he's seen as an "/ourguy/" type of figure, as someone who is openly furry who managed to get successful somewhere.
He'll probably at most have some weird furry artwork and maybe some other furries starfucking him but any thought of a Kero style log is delusional. Maybe someone will dig up something else he said years ago or some spicy political takes, but I doubt there will be anything on the level of Kero or even the more edgy political furries like Hemms.

If you think those Jasonafex posts were funny, check his thread. He edited the acceptance speech to try and make SonicFox look worse than he was so he could complain about it on FurAffinity.
He's a real deep salt mine because of this one remark.

The fact that anyone gets suspicious of someone just for being notable is laughable. That’s dead on paranoia. Not everyone is gonna be another Shmorky or another Kero, and if they were, that should wouldn’t be as shocking when it happens.
I’ve noticed this happens whenever a big exposure is made. This cause and effect chain never fails:
>big exposure of someone popular found to be a terrible person
>it’s rightfully treated as a big deal
>people then look for the same shit elsewhere in hopes of being the next super-reporter or what have you who drops a huge story
The end result is always people making fools of themselves and doing nothing but spreading delusions of paranoia and fear monger. It’s not unlike the craze back in the day of daycare abuse where people started saying satanic daycares were raping babies. They actually made those claims. Don’t fall into that trap is my only advice. You’re not gonna be the guy that exposes someone. That shit comes to you, you don’t find it yourself.

The end result that leads to panic would likely have to come from either furries jealous of SonicFox regardless of the politics or some tard that really fell for SonicFox's bait. If the worst SonicFox has are just some douchebag tweets, all that leads to will be some speds blowing it up to sound like Sonic's as vile as Kero.

The fact he has no shame makes me suspicious of him. It also makes me wonder why no one has found anything, yet. Kind of goes in circles after that.
Otherwise, I concur. People jump the gun far too often. I would love the salt, though, if he gets dropped from sponsors over potentially alienating half of America. Not gonna happen, but it would be fun.

I really don't fucking understand why politics is a thing in the fandom. When? How? 'Literal nazis' is already an immensely American take on politics; why does it matter to the point it's up there with pronouns and sexuality in people's bio? Political orientation is a tint to life, it does literally nothing about your behavior except maybe being unable to hold in the desire to call someone nigger.
On top of that: How does it affect gaming? Do they feel the need to sperg out in their Overwatch team chat? How does it show in any way, other than.. Social media. Ranting. Oh no, they're behaving like literally anyone with a boner for debating and politics, but they're furries!

I think he’s shameless because furries never have shame. I’ve never met or seen a furry that has any shame about anything, no matter what they’re doing.
I’d also point out that given the shitty state of the furry fandom and furries in general, what with the zoophiles and zoosadists and pedos and what not, just his identifying as a furry is cotroversial, his squeaky clean FA gallery not withstanding. Its certainly not plastic-fantastic middle class button down mind boring, that’s for sure.
The only problem I have with his speech is the same I have with guys who get up there and thank Jesus for being their personal savior, at times like this; that’s great, glad your happy but seriously, I don’t need to hear about it. Why does it bother you? You're comparing "I'm black, gay, and furry" with someone thanking god for their success. Is that really zealotry or fanaticism? Is SonicFox a furry missionary?
The Video Game Awards is a glorified collection of adverts. The awards are worthless. If some furry's on-stage sperging makes anyone this concerned, the furry isn't the cow, here.

A quick look at his Twitter shows a never ending stretch - at least recently - of “I am gay!” art. In 2018 that’s not really an achievement, now is it?
I was recently at a meeting with about 10 people and three of them identified as being gay and being married to a man. And no one else, including me, stormed out of the room in disgust or made a deal out of it. It’s just a thing.
I don’t know, maybe there are still parts of the United States where you’re in danger of an imminent fag drag pronouncing such a thing, but not where I live. Getting up on stage and announcing I’m gay! Is zealotry, and just getting in people‘s faces.
And yes, he is a furry Missionary because all furries are furry missionaries. They’re all like that.

I’ve been around and (ill advisedly) been friends with furries and anytime someone identifies as one, trouble follows in the form of their weird, unacceptable, aspie bad behavior and revelations of their freak.
