No that is categorically wrong. The discord server still exist. Most the people involved in creating that was just there to make a honey pot to troll phil. The reason for it was that phil just gave the task to create a discord server to someone who wasn't really involved with the community. So as an extension of that no one had any idea who the moderators where. The only thing I did was to say as long as no one knows who the people running it is, there is no way this can be a fan server for phil.

Oof! Slow stream today. Approximate cheer timeline of "Darksiders III PREMIERE Live Stream":
A quick count using Overrustle results in about 3.200 bits cheered during the whole stream. I haven't watched most of the stream, but I did catch at least two tips quite early in the stream; $5 en $6, with the latter being the top tip for the whole stream.
The stream ran for roughly 5 hours and 40 minutes, so if you that as "labor" hours, you end up with an approximate hourly rate of... $7.50. Could be more because of missed tips, but I can't imagine it being a huge difference.

First time I watched more then ~30 min of a stream in a long time and this one was brutal. He clearly hated the game within the first 20 minutes but he didn't want to admit it so fast because he shit on reviewers for saying it was bad. Constant bitching about trolls, begging for interaction then anytime a question comes in "Don't know what that is.", and within 1 hour of each other "I like the game because its linear, not open world" to "I like the game because it's open world".
Him constantly talking about Battlefield V selling bad cause it's half off...It was just the biggest retail weekend of the year every game that's not a Nintendo first party is half off.
He's become so much worse over the last few years.

This pic reminded me of another nugget from the good ol' Days when youtube was run by the outlaws. The thing with him always creating an avatar to look like himself when he has the chance in games: An in-game character actually ended up being pretty close without his help - minus the long hair and beard of course. Barry Wheeler in Alan Wake.
The viewers caught this pretty quick of course and pointed it out to Phil. Strangely enough he didn't see much resemblance at all! The game devs Remedy were pretty spot on though at foreshadowing the future by even including his flare for Christmas decoration and design.

Random thought, but when Phil dies, who is going to take care of his remains? Short of his parents still being alive at that point to do it (like they take care of literally everything for him), he's such an anti-social douche that nobody will claim his remains.

If you didn’t know any better you could make a case for this guy either having bad luck or the universe making games worse when he wants to like them. Inspired by a few people who have asked previously and by @Comma 's noting of cheer distributions, I added to my script to generate all of November's cheers broken down into 30 minute increments. The blue box represents approximately Phil's 1st stream (give or take 15-30 minutes, depending on how prompt he is), and the orange box represents approximately the 2nd stream. The red box is approximately when he usually takes his 20-30 minute break (cause he works so hard, DOOD). The times are binned by using Excel's floor function, so (if I understand it right), any cheer made between 1:00:00 PM and 1:29:59 PM would show up as 1:00:00 PM on here, for example.
It's pretty clear that Phil gets a majority of his cheers within the first hour or so of streaming (36% of his total in 1st 1.5 hours of 1st stream, and 27% in the first 2 hours of his 2nd stream) with a small resurgence after his break. The same is pretty much true for 2nd stream, although it maybe is more like the 1st 1.5 hours. Otherwise, you can see the occasional "tooth fairy" cheer that is most often made by GoldenColts or Infinite_55.
Won't do this often (maybe ever again, unless specifically requested), but I thought it was interesting enough to share.
