How did we fuck him? Who here caused him to not pay his taxes? I don't understand that comment. He chose not to pay his taxes. He chose not to adapt or look for other work. In what way is this anyone but his fault? He's getting more and more desperate each year. Next year he'll blame his Mom and Dad for his tax problems.

If anyone's gonna talk about this no spoilz please I'm not very far yet. I am however probably far enough to say.. it's almost certainly not? I am def enjoying it quite a bit though. He's a strange beast when it comes to actually talking about videogames. As little as he actually does talk about them anyway.. considering you know, it's his fucking job. He really doesn't get far into rhyme or reason anymore. Nor the bizarre science behind The Hateful Truth The Ahnest Review scorecard criteria.

Rule of thumb seems to be: if there's a chance he'll get shat on plain and simple for not liking a new critically praised narrative-driven vidya or a cherished retro classic he's never played before he'll keenly tell you it was a great game, amazing story that he could follow and everything. Even if the preceding playthrough that was just uploaded to DSPGaming (so check it out!) is one long playlist of evidence to the contrary filled with yawning "I dunno what's going on" goat laughs and rage when he can't follow basic on-screen instructions like feed your horse so it doesn't die - you'd think he'd get this one a bit quicker too.

There's a certain tier of games he seems obviously afraid to shit on even if he really doesn't like it that much. Most of the time though he's confident enough he can fly below the radar and thinks he's saying something interesting when he says "For some reason Fist of the North Star seems like it ripped off Yakuza, right? I dunno why people give it a pass dood these devs are fucking lazy!".

He also cruises on autopilot so much these days it's actually hard to tell when he does indeed like a game. I don't think it happens very often anymore.

Ya see, without the detractors, Phil would be as big as Dr. Disrespect. He would be getting all types of sponsorships, offers, views, and ultimately money. Everything in Phil's life that has ever gone wrong has been because of detractors bro. With that being said, if it wasn't for those mentally ill detractors, Phil would have so much money that paying his taxes would be a drop in the bucket. He did nothing wrong.

I've always pegged phil as a racist. Nobody says the things he does out loud who are racially tolerant. Like when he said "wtf it sounds like there is an african nation outside my house". Or the numerous racist things he said during sleeping dogs. Some people think that is why he's so aggressive towards Tevin. I could be wrong but he never had such a vendetta against fred fuchs. Not only that, they were super-aware of his 10 year legacy and how amazing and popular he was. Not only that, he didn't just get a form letter (again, he reads the forums) but got a very special letter because he's very special and he spoke to his 'contact' at Curse (client rep to adults) who had to break the news to him.

Also he said he lost thousands of dollars for the three weeks he didn't have ads, how much fucking money is he supposed to be making from his sub-1k view videos?

Edit: Phil boasting about the fact he can eat pizza so easily thanks his authentic italian heritage. Also he can't eat wings because he ends up smearing the sauce over his face.

1) He said his contact called him to tell because his contact felt so ad about D$P being dropped. He also said that the things he was told in the phone call were not in the email due 'to Legal reasons'. So D$P is telling us that instead of putting these things in writting, they said them verbally because that's not a completely insane business practice.

2) He had ads the entire time. He started uploading videos to KOGaming due to it still having monetization.

3)He repeatedly referred to his goatee as his 'beard'.

He is mixing his story, means it is a lie.

He said before that they said he will never get partnered, now he said that he can get in touch with them in case they wanna partner him up.

Based on this nugget, he is vaguely confirming that he received the same form letter others did as I recall the 'take you back at some later date' being brought up.

Think this spells it out why they dropped D$P. It doesn't say review the ones that get flagged. It says review EVERY video Partners upload. They weren't going to review his daily spam of 30-40 uploads. There is a very small chance that IF he had listened to his fans and uploaded fewer, longer videos he might not have been dropped. Yet another example of D$P shooting himself in the foot.
