Wait, didn't Marzgurl release a video where she exclaimed how distraught and surprised she was by the revelation and how she didn't quite know how to deal with her Goodbye Kamen Rider fanmovie that she made in honor of JeWario?

Yeah and she said she was surprised some in change the channel already knew about Jewwario.
 
I think in hindsight, Change The Channel was at least a little pre-planned. It always just looked like a perfect storm of the ex-CA members getting together one night and shit-talking Mike and Doug, but looking back, I do think at least Allison and probably a few of the other old guard were intentionally trying to brew up a controversy storm and bleed the channel dry or use it as a graceful excuse to bow out without attracting attention. Especially given how little traffic Allison's channel gets on average compared to some of the other ex producers, I think she was hoping this would give her web-career an adrenaline shot.

It reminds me a bit of the whole thing with NeoGAF and ResetERA where the Gaf mods tried to oust Tyler Malka from his position with an overexaggerated MeToo story so they could take the site over, only for Malka to turn around and kick out the toxic mods.

Yeah, let's compare a single convience to allow for Luke to have his moment in IV to a nobody capable of seemingly anything with little to no effort (Rey). These people twist what a Sue is and apply it to other characters for weak "gotcha" moments and when asked politely, it's arguing in bad faith.
Presuming that everyone who naysays them is somehow bad this consistently, it only shows they are afraid to engage with instead of wise to ignore.
Channel Awesome was a mistake.

Depends on how much money it costs them. Probably worth noting the Rat corporation never actually says anything, it just allows things to play out knowing the net media will do their work for them, who in turn get the flack from fans.

The real stinger is the Rat doesnt even have to reward them for this moronic product loyalty.

Unless I'm mistaken, the latest design of BFR is now a two-stage rocket, with the upper stage named Starship because it is theoretically capable of leaving the solar system. It shares very little with the original released concept, and I'm not sure why they would even consider using the BFR name.

The BFR is essentially the lower stage of the whole assembly.
