Money Twitter 10/8 - Why Chris won't get a job

Real question, but what jobs ARE out there for people with this level of delusion? Even bagging groceries requires some kind of mental aptitude...

Mental aptitude isn't the issue for Chris though. He could easily work at a recycling plant separating papers from plastics, or even at a factory doing some menial task. Hell, there are actual mentally retarded people far more disabled than Chris has ever been in his life that do those kinds of jobs and earn a nice little wage for themselves. Chris just think that the very idea of having a job is beneath him, and that hubris is going to bite him in the ass hard. I'll be surprised if Barb sees the new decade.

Then again maybe she'll just keep on living and living out of spite until she looks like a female Gollum, crawling around the dark piles of hoard calling it all her precious.

One of the problems with Chris being on a diversion programme is that he'll be around other mentally ill people. Fuck knows what ideas he's picking up from other programme participants and the extent to which they're validating his own fantasies.

Real talk. if I was in Chris's shoes and I could fleece the US government and an assortment of random tards on the internet, I wouldn't be in a hurry to get a fucking Mcjob either.

Our days are numbered? In CWCville no-one has to work?

So, basically Doomsday Saga - the Last Days of CWC. I only hope whoever is feeding Chris with this bullshit, will be proud of himself when Chris ends it (possibly taking Barb with him) and will post the conversations.

Of course Chris-chan thinks that he doesn't need to get a job--people have been throwing money at him whenever he e-begs for how long? Whenever whatever relevancy has finally dies down, he will be left with the tugboat, a mortgage, debt, and probably a dead Barb. That is going to be a really sad wakeupw call for his Great Mind.

The is Chris capable of getting a job question isn't really one of "is he physically/mentally capable?". He's capable in that way of finding some form of employment. However, his desire to work is just not there. You can tell it's the LAST thing he wants for his life. It's as if he knows that would mean playtime and a life of excuses would be over. He'd have to develop discipline and overcome minor discomfort, instead of surrendering to the day the moment he felt the first challenge of stress. New obstacles and challenges are unwelcome to his world, despite what rewards and opportunities they could bring him.

My GF just pointed out that this end of days, "time is running out" stuff is reminding her of the current season of American horror story. I can neither confirm or deny because I hate AHS, but who knows, maybe somebody is cribbing that plot.
