so he's having a day off today and playing spiderman tm. I thought he couldn't pay his bills? If someone could write "how not to run a business 101" it would be DSP. He's skipping first hype game in a long time to take a break. Makes no fucking sense.

Its what he used to do back when he was making money, he makes a little bit of money and slips right back into it. He's been making money lately, slips back into that habit. He's been taking time off lately and he's going to a fancy restaurant with Kat. I mean its her birthday so fair enough but still, you'd think he'd have learnt his lesson not to just instantly spend the money on fancy things and leave it for emergencies. I am always amazed that youtube content creators think their income will always be stable. They are getting their income from a company that sells its analytics tools directly to advertisers. Advertisers are getting data down to the fucking second on what content creators get them the most interaction with viewers. Initially, youtubers were like shotgunned with advertising dollars because it is wild wild wet. No one knew what was effective online advertising.

Now...it is like surgery laser. Advertisers can get real time data showing which creator they want.

I am not surprised DSP or any fucking streamer is struggling to get advertising dollars. I highly doubt their audience is seen as valuable to any advertiser, especially someone like Phil who is constantly demanding his audience give him money directly.

Isn't literally every other part of his rig hooked up via lossy "cable extender" gadgets on the HDMI and USB cables? He probably introduces more lag from those than anything his internet connection does.

So after everything Phil has said (directly to him, not even just general detractor statements), and everything he has accurately said about Phil, and his decision to move away from making videos... he starts giving money. And while off topic, the cheers weren't exactly anything that exposed Phil or got him riled. Some credit, I guess, for choosing a name composition that caused Phil's valedictory potato brain visible distress every time he had to say it, but otherwise this is a cautionary tale about going down the 'give Phil money' rabbit hole. I wonder if Phil becomes aware of this and SecretLife cheers again, if Phil will ban him, or compliment him on seeing the light.

Phil just commented on prestream that 'attendance was good' for Spider-Man. I love his control of language. He doesn't pay attention to views, so now he needs to use the word 'attendance' to obscure the fact that he is directly talking about viewership.

Any true fan would know that you cannot afford a house in a gated community with a Patreon. To #savethehouse, you also need tips, cheers, subs, donations of equipment, tax evasion, Airmiles to fly your parents out for maintenance, and a soulmaid for extra income. EDIT: Phil alleges that Shocker is a puzzle boss, because instead of using the normal dodge, you had to swing around avoiding his blasts before creating an opening by throwing something at him. So any variation in gameplay now constitutes a 'puzzle'.

He actually did not mention anal penetration, penile or otherwise, once during the 2 hours of gameplay, I was so proud of him. 'Dick' was in there twice (lol) because it was in a username, so Dave said something like, "DicksMcBoogerBalls cheered and said 'blah, blah, blah' well DicksMcBoogerBalls blah, blah, blah.'
'Bitch' was in reference to a 'Ragequitter' who was in the middle of pushing his shit in, so more likely the guy's internet cut out.
'Ass' and 'Shit' were in reference to the game itself or other players.
In a 120 minute stream he said 'Fuck' almost once a minute and the only other words he even said close to that amount were 'Mash', 'Jab', and 'Sucks' respectively.

I've seen people with names like "phil is a stupid idiot" but written backwards exist happily in chat, @-ing Phil and talking with mods, until they decided to out themselves. So there's no need to give Phil money at all. Anyone who troll cheers is a grade-A moron. Anyone who troll tips is also dumb as shit. You can get just as tardy a reaction by @-ing Phil with something remotely clever to get him riled up (asking about Youtube or something, for instance).
