To clarify, Asterios did some trolling stuff involving Maddox, which is why he is the sole exception. I think he photoshopped a billboard with an anti-Maddox ad and claimed he bought it, but I don't know if he ever actually did. IIRC, he also contacted some of Maddox's sponsors and bullied them into pulling.

Asterios's coup de grace was releasing an album titled "Santa Cuck" full of royalty free Christmas songs about Maddox being a cuckold when he bragged about his podcast bonus show placing sixth on iTunes Comedy, which is otherwise used to list decade old standup comedy albums. Santa Cuck immediately hit #1, remained there for weeks as Maddox's "album" fell off to obscurity, and ended up charting on Billboard.

Just want to be clear. This is why he's being sued. For singing Christmas carols about George Ouzounian being a cuck.

If I were to guess, I think he's doing this out of desperation. Once Asterios is in the clear he has an in to countersue the cuck for punitive damages, but if he's still dealing with Maddox draining his finances with all these frivolous lawsuits, he won't be able to afford to do so.

This is just so frustrating to watch.

Having caught up on all this hot goss only within the last two months, this is genuinely the most enjoyably dumb lawsuit I’ve read about in some time.

Raging emotional responses rarely make for coherent legal proceedings, but god if they aren’t funny as fuck. If you’re ever bored, go to your local court and see if there’s a case contesting a will; they’re always hugely emotional and dramafilled sagas.

Lawyer had to do his job when he realized the extension Maddox asked for was allowed with a few hours to go. Asterios was probably expecting nothing to come of it.
