The wording of the screenshot gives me the impression that they are seeking to liquidate the Floraverse inventory they have. Glip burned them real bad on the figurine run, and I can't see them wanting to do future business with her.
the other big reason to liquidate is simply that they are moving and lugging around shit they don't need like floraverse merch is gonna be a pain in the ass. they're probably gonna move to a smaller place than before, too.
Andre is probably what Glip wishes Marl was. She was obsessed with the character about as much as she was obsessed with Beleth, drawing him on her side blogs and reposting fanart of him, during and after the Itchy, Itchy arc. He was honestly one of the more tolerable characters so it's a good thing he took a backseat, otherwise Glip would've wrote him as a screechy cunt like everyone else she touches. He made brief reappearances in Try, Try Again and War Is Hell, until him and the demon trio were all swapped out for Lily and Neon.Yeah, he freaked out when a fan credited him on Floraverse's tvtropes page.
btw a little :late: but I thought I'd mention it since I've never seen anyone bring that up: PK revealed that Andre's personality and humor were inspired by the King Cuck himself during one of her flora podcasts with bloodfencer. it was one of the last ones with Marl as a guest, we probably still have those recordings archived (i know most of them work if you use the wayback machine)
so yeah, considering how Marl wrote the script for the Andre-heavy stories and how Andre stopped appearing once PK took over the writing (from Try, Try Again onwards), i automatically think of Andre as Marl's self insert of sort. what's interesting is how PK won't shove that particular character into any porn scenario.

No, because it's all but explicitly stated that they were complicit with Marl's actions. If Marl left, it would be because he didn't want the attention PK and Eevee draw upon themselves on the internet. They already know that people online are going to be scrutinizing every little thing they say and post, and Marl is just smart enough to comprehend he wants as little identifying information out there as he can manage.
The only thing that would change my view of them is if they all publicly apologized and turned Marl in. Whatever they're communicating to each other in private right now will most likely stay private. I'm guessing that Marl has continued being dishonest and that Glip is too self-centered to bend to the severity of reality.
I always assumed Andre was inspired by Prismo from Adventure Time.Andre's design reminds me of the designs from Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends. I mean, they have actual reasons behind their designs, but without knowing them, sometimes they can seem random.
