The easiest way to make your ex look bad is to simply keep quiet about them and give them enough rope to hang themselves. Boogie has accomplished the latter admirably. Smart people know when one party talks shit and the other stays quiet, the shit talker is more often than not the shit person.

My own personal theory is that Dez only cared about getting out of the relationship and nothing else. The relationship was so terrible that she only cared about leaving. She didn't care what was in the divorce agreement as long as the marriage was over and she was able to get the hell away from Boogie.
