I mean, it's hard to not feel for the guy a bit. What really sucks for him though is that he just won't ever grow a pair and decide to commit to anything; that's where my sympathies stop. If you can't learn by the half century mark that you have to nut up and get things done then I don't know what to say. Nice guy from the looks of it, massive pussy from the facts of it.

I feel sorry for him in the sense that he dicked his life up with food addiction and is suffering because of it, as much as I feel sorry for anyone who's suffering. Although it's become much harder to feel sorry for him now that I know how meticulously his online presence is designed to get pity points.

The only thing I feel any sympathy for is the fact that those pity points actually mean something to him. The fact that he wallows in the septic tank of his echo-chamber just confirms what a debased, piggish, attention-whore he is.
I have more respect for the junkie begging on the boulevard, at least they're in dire straits.

Feeling bad for Boogie is a mixed bag for me. Boogie came from an abusive household, one that was likely so bad that it truly ruined him for life. It left him with an impression that has led to all sorts of emotional and mental problems, which then led to all sorts of physical problems through him being an overeater. It's a sad story in many ways.
The problem is he never tries to improve himself. Or at least in the correct way. He rather use his problems and abusive history to garner sympathy points online. And in his path to doing so, he does horrible things like outing his sister's sexual abuse or getting into petty drama that makes him look like an asshole.
If Boogie made even minuscule amounts of true improvement in his life and personality, I could legitimately call him good person. But he has never done so and he likely never will. That's where I draw the line.

When he says something that puts him in any degree of conflict, he's poor sweet niceboi who just wants everyone to get along and "oh golly guys I was just trying to help but everyone's just so mean to me, like Mommy was!" and that's becoming more and more of an obvious put on. Dude's a cunt. His wife bailed first chance she got. By his own, obviously biased admission, he contributed plenty to it.

The easiest way to make your ex look bad is to simply keep quiet about them and give them enough rope to hang themselves. Boogie has accomplished the latter admirably. Smart people know when one party talks shit and the other stays quiet, the shit talker is more often than not the shit person.

People tend to be very simplistic about people they deem victims and victimhood - they see them as pure always dindu nuffins(further propagated by the term 'victim-blaming').
When in reality people like Boogie, raised in abusive households(if true) tend to end up being abusive themselves as adults. On the H3H3 podcast Boogie said he had frequent 'anxiety attacks' during his marriage which knowing Boogie it could mean anything from a salty comment to shouting abuse.

This was probably Dez's life and this isn't even Boogie's general fits over Youtube numbers and revenue which she wouldn't have control of but still probably took the brunt of his anger and also her dealing with his 24/7 pity party.
Constant arguments about his yo-yoing dieting and trying every fade diet there ever was.
Pressure to also go on whatever diet he is on with him no matter of what she wants.
Arguments when he wants junk food and how she's trying to control him and it's his life then later caving and giving him said junk food is thrown in her face as an example of how she is like his mother controlling and killing him with food.
Threats of suicide.
Blaming all his shit on his parents and thus always giving him a pass while she must own her mistakes.
Last just the basic life of taking care of a 600 plus pound baby including all the feeding and cleaning associated with babies.
The Harlem Globetrotters could had made her air tight while he watched and handed out towels afterwards and she would had still deserved more in the divorce.

Another thing that makes me wonder are those tweets where he said to just say yes and to avoid lawyers because they cost too much. I kind of can't help but feel maybe Dez had some evidence that would ruin his image or something that he didn't want to leak out in court and he'said just trying to look like he's playing the moral highroad once again.
