That is sensible.
It also involves sacrifice and effort. That is why OPL will not do it.
Sensible talk is for twolls and JERKS; and sacrifice and effort are for peasants and other folks that aren't OPL.

Not really sensible; he can't walk 9.3 miles to Walmart for Barb's prescriptions every time.
Shit, he's banned from that Walmart anyway---make that 17.4 miles. And the same distance back.

I can't wait until this little pyramid scheme he has invented for himself topples over. More sales to pay for old sales, but he is running out of things to sell. Part of me wants to buy a dozen medallions so I can complain when they aren't ever in my hands. Soon enough he will be selling in-person meetings.

This genuinely upsets me. He is taking people's money and waving it back in their faces as he drives around in his new car.

So...Chris basically follows these steps:

1-) Have money problems.
2-) Beg people for money.
3-) Get money by selling doodles and clay.
4-) Spend more than you should on Lego.

5-) Have money problems.
6-) Beg people for money.
7-) Get money fby getting a loan.
8-) Spend more than you should on car you don't need.

9-) Have money problems.
10-)Beg people for money.

I'm sure a more talented person than me could make this into a handy visual graph. The repetitive cycle of incompetence is amazing. Like @Thetan said, they could have waited until they could afford a car to get one. It's not like either Barb and Chris drive to work, or actually need a new vehicle for a specific purpose.

The ebay may not be a scam as he has been doing his best (somewhat) to follow up on his orders. The kickstarter, however, is a total scam if I'm understanding the point of kickstarters correctly. Aren't they to fund a project that gives back to the donors? His kickstarter is just giving him free money for toys.
Chris thinks that since he would post a video and pictures of his mall, he'd be giving to the entire world. He probably believes that just knowing that his oh-so-awesome self made this fantastical model of the CWCville universe will improve the world and make everybody happy.

Can't really say you couldn't see this coming. Chris has a history of not keeping a consistent effort in anything he does.

It's also worth stating that if he hadn't procrastinated so much from the start of his medallion endeavour and actually made and shipped some of them already, people would have more faith in him. Insead, he sat for a couple of weeks letting the orders build up and taking peoples money, then spent all that money without fulfilling any the orders.
Just because he said it would take up to two weeks or whatever, doesn't mean he has to stick to this, nothing was stopping him from doing it earlier.

I've been fairly neutral on the whole "buying stuff from Chris" thing, it's pretty dumb giving him money for stuff, and I don't think he should be encouraged, but if somebody wants a quirky present or whatever, it's pretty harmless, and people can spend their own money as they see fit.

That said, anybody buying stuff from Chris knows full well how lazy and entitled he is, so you knew the risks when you sent him money. By all means, try and get a refund if you feel he hasn't delivered on his agreement, but I can't help but feel you were playing with fire in the first place.

I love the fact that Chris expects everyone on eBay to see his Facebook posts, yet doesn't seem to realise that this is also what allows people to see what he's been wasting his money on.

Why do they even need several cars? Can't they use public transportation? Or would that be beneath them?

Getting around by public transportation isn't always a viable option in these podunk towns, although there's no reason they need two ****ing cars.

Although, the only place he ever needs to go is Walmart and the grocery store. If he can walk to those places, he's all set.

Agreed. Let's be honest here, anyone that is buying e-bay stuff from Chris at the moment probably looks at his Facebook and/or frequents this forum.
Definitely. Nobody's deciding out of nowhere to buy a yellow Sonic medallion.
Edit: I read all his posts as if they're addressed to us now. I'm looking at them thinking "ain't nobody got time for that." But people throw him a bone once in awhile and his ego kicks in. Then we all laugh.

Three cars, now. Three working cars. 1.5 cars per person. Which is a higher ratio than most of America owns.

if chris just said "no mom deal with a stickshift" what is she gonna do? lock him out and leave her alone with no one to get her food or drive her to goodwill and no tugboat/paypal dosh? honestly that'd probably benefit chris and kill her in the long run.

for the first time in his life, chris is the household breadwinner. he could increase his toy-buying exponentially if he could just lift his monkey mind a little and put 2+2 together, 2001 style
