You don't understand the severity of this, Lynx. There's a grand number of Lego orders now hanging in limbo because of your inquiry. HE NEEDS TOYS!

Yeah.
This means Chris can make the argument that he couldn't fulfill the sale because the funds were frozen before the shipping deadline.
He couldn't have defaulted as it's not the 26th yet.
He gets free money from the government monthly. If he doesn't have the bare minimum in his PayPal to cover for these things, forgive me if I'm unsympathetic. Like always, Chris makes disaster very easy, and when it happens, he goes into meltdown.
Exactly. All he had to do is set aside money to ship the merchandise instead of getting his taint pierced, buying legos, supporting the gays, and buying a fucking car.
I don't get it... If I buy something from Chris so he can afford to ship other peoples orders, then were is the money to ship my order going to come from?
Is it a two-for-one deal? Buy two items, get one shipped?
They live in the sticks. Public transit doesn't exist. Why do they even need cars? Can't they use public transportation? Or would that be beneath them?

There's no public transportation in Ruckersville, or in most of rural America. Barb might be able to get rides in some kind of senior citizens' van at most. Why do they even need cars? Can't they use public transportation? Or would that be beneath them?

Plus Chris feels more comfortable in a "sporty" car (They're fancy people. They expect the best. Also, Chris likes to stick his head out the window on long drives.
Seriously, this. There's no public transportation in Ruckersville, or in most of rural America.
I used to think she was ferried around by Chris most of the time, but maybe that's not actually the case. Or maybe Chris and Barb's discussions about how she doesn't like stick are all theoretical. The pair of them might just be acting together like she's still an independent adult, not having to be hauled around by donkey-brained Chris. But is there any time that Barb goes out unassisted? I assume that Chris handles all driving duties. So I'm a little unclear on two cars.
I thought it was established that buying a better used car was cheaper than fixing the engine block of that thing
