Cause OBVIOUSLY whenever Phil gets money donated to him we all curl into the fetal positions and contemplate ending ourselves since we cannot stand against the might of the paypigs and their ability to just waste money.

Of course, you have to marvel at the brainless behaviour of Phil's fans. I would like to know myself where this comes from.

Phil has apparently started preshtream and is talking to the handful of people that can hear him while the chat freaks out and tries to find a solution. Meanwhile, Phil reveals what his primary concerns are with this situation...

Note it's not the fact that half his loyal fans can't even hear him, it's that they can't throw quarters at him.
Some things are more important than money, but apparently this is not one of them.

There are times when a game just has your number. You try over and over but just can't beat that boss or figure out a puzzle, so what do you do? Don't want to speak for everyone, but many would just turn the game off and take a break. Then when you clear your head and come back whatever was fucking you up just isn't there anymore, but Phil won't do that.

I can just imagine the craziness if that ever happened. Somebody (maybe Khet) starting a stream and telling the Phil-verse that he has died. Everybody would say “Oh, Dave is just getting ready for his next begging stream.” There would be screenshots of the obituaries and police reports all over the internet. I don’t think anyone would believe a picture of him in a casket. Maybe a couple of years later people would say, “well maybe he did die, but Phil is a compulsive liar.”

Careful now, in the not too distant future we may have DSP sightings much like there used to be Elvis sightings.

Lighting money on fire could serve a purpose though. They could use the fire to keep themselves warm if left with no other options. Giving it to dave is just a flat waste, or only traps them deeper into autism

So I know some people are annoyed that Phil's boring shitty life has resulted in a quieter topic as of late, even with the excellent efforts of folk like @SoapQueen1 organising topics so it's easier to navigate around the various topics in Phil's boring shitty life, but all he's managed to do lately is change people's opinions of Kat - a lot of us vilified Phil for having Kat on video months ago as she genuinely looked like she hated it. Now for many people, instead of having a shred of pity for her, can see she's just - and I say this in the most literal sense - a slow-witted, lamebrained, exceptional, mentally defective imbecile.

As a person I'm sure she's delightful when she's not busy licking windows, though.

For Phil there's just no reason to really pay attention anymore. Even his drama is now dreary. He's gotten MORE boring. He cares so hard about detractors and his IRL stream practically had him begging for their attention. But he's boring.

Past Phil would've gotten around this by being his usual toxic self but with Twitch watching him closely he cannot do this, so he's going to be struggling to retain interest in anyone, be they fan or detractor. Kat literally has nothing to offer as she's either intentionally being vague or is actually an incredibly boring person, so Phil is going to need to get creative to get the ratings back up.

This is how I feel as in terms of Lolcows Low Tier God is slightly more entertaining only because his spergery is trying to be a one man army against his trolls rather than Phil who shouts orders from his bomb shelter. In terms of Kat he wastes his audience's time talking about her instead of just letting her live with him. This is the best thing about Phil as he is so stupid he doesn't realize that he is his own enemy bringing shit like this up for the sake of "being honest". He doesn't need to tell his audience about some random ass girl he immediately met and found a way to have her payed to come across the country he MADE his fans including his detractors care about her by basically bragging about her.

Seeing her on the recent stream makes me think tha yeah...she has more energy than she did before but for what? Even when asked a question about her own interests she seemed like either she didn't know what she was talking about. knew so little about it or pulled a Phil and straight up lied about. Phil tries to be so secretive about her when back then Pandalee had her own (cringey) channel of her doing goofy and random shit when Phil acts like Kat doesn't need an internet presences.

Can someone work out whether that's feasible with his claimed $1500/month mortgage payment? I know the mortgage payment may include condo fees, homeowners insurance, property tax, and so on, but I can't really reconcile that little of a decrease in the principal after, what, 9 years?

I can't help with the math stuff, but I can tell you the answer is one or both of 2 things:

1. He said words, therefore he lied; and/or
2. In his reptillian-brained, tunnel-visioned race against time to get out of Ma & Pa Burnell's basement of imagined oppression, he signed off on some insane mortgage agreement, circa or just pre-dating the U.S. housing market collapse. Which of course he didn't read, & had no prayer of comprehending even if he did.
