My own personal lolcow is an ex-friend of mine.
Back around 2014, I joined tumblr. I didn’t really know at the time what kind of cesspool this site could be. Mostly, I joined for more fandom related shit. Regardless, soon enough I started to talk to some of the users and we made a small skype group chat.
At first it was mostly just talking about fandoms but once shit got more personal, an exceptional individual came from the woodworks. This person, calling her Sam for story telling purposes, is a vegan, supposed asexual, bi-gender, ptsd having, tumblrite that already drank the tumblr kool aid and now shots it straight into her veins.
Some highlights:
- Would go on the group chat to bitch and complain about minor shit and often blow it out of proportion. Lock herself out of her car? Went to the wrong building for therapy? Shit, she will tell you and complain for pity points instead of doing something about it.
-Gets her panties wet when people reblog her shitty art. Legit once she got over 50 notes and she came to us going. “owo Validation!” WOuld bitch about the lack of notes she got on her non binary ocs.
-Insufferable vegan who made sure you knew she was vegan. Often talk about it and give out false information about agriculture. Once posted a picture of her flipping off a dairy farm like a sperg. Also refused a job near a dairy farm because she couldn’t handle the painful “sad moos”
-Told is all about how she is now non binary and uses they pronouns even though she really doesn’t have any gender dysphoria. uwu
-Also claims to be asexual but would get her panties wet for strong buff older men. Once bitched that some dude couldn’t get with her cause she learned he was a hunter. Never mind she claims not to feel any attraction for anyone.
-Bitched her sister out for telling a Mexican joke. Bitches about her family a lot and whines that her biological father had pictures of pretty girls on his wall so now she is traumatized for life.
-Bitches on how little money she has but would drive 200 miles to attend a vegan farm sanctuary where you feed Turkeys.
-Sam says she loves animals but she has Three cats and a small dog in a small ass apartment. Asked a animal vet friend of mine if she could put the dog on a vegan diet. In 20 years she will be on animal hoarders on the discovery channel.
-Claims to have ptsd over confrontation and uses her social anxiety as an excuse for any shitty behavior. Got triggered once for a week off the skype chat because a friend of mine pointed out a flaw in her logic.
-The first thing she asked me about a school shooting incident where a man shot his girlfriend and elementary school students was if the man was white. No care over dead children but only if it fits her narrative over evil white people.
-Follows the “white people are racist!” Mentality even though she is white herself.
I have so many more. Sam was and still is a goldmine of laughs. The only reason why I still follow her on tumblr and Facebook.

Used to be friends with a guy on skype who turned out to be a tumblr tranny. Fucked off away from him for a while and came back, only to find that not only is he one of those headmates weirdos, but a commie as well.

This actually took place on Instagram, but this individual had a tumblr and was pretty much the epitome of tumblr culture, so I figured it was worth posting about here. Long post ahead, but I needed to write this much to encompass the shitstorm surrounding this person.
I got roped into the "kin community" on Instagram in 2015 through a friend of mine. I never got into it, but pretty much everyone in my circle of internet friends at the time was in on it, so I got a pretty up close and personal look at what those kinds of people were actually like. Needless to say, it was an extremely toxic group of attention-craved, drama-fueled genderspecial teens who were going through a phase they would regret pretty heavily later on. While pretty much everyone involved was a mess, I remember one person in particular who was.. a special case.
This person, who I'll call Mickey because I never learned her actual name, was one of the biggest, if not the absolute biggest, drama monger I've ever had the misfortune of talking to in my life. While she had a slew of kins, which were mostly cartoon characters, she mostly identified with Mickey Mouse for reasons I'll never understand and insisted everyone called her Mickey. For a while, she used masculine or neutral pronouns, but presented very feminine and always posted selfies of herself in dresses. Eventually, she got bored of being a troon and went back to feminine ones. She then proceeded to chimp out at anyone who used the old pronouns, even on accident, which was bizarre because she never officially mentioned which ones she preferred. She just started shitting on everyone who called her "he" with no warning. Literal dozens of vent posts were created as a result of that alone. But of course, it didn't end there.
Mickey ran a giant callout blog on Tumblr for various people for even minor transgressions, including but not limited to her whole gender drama. She was also a huge Yo-Kai Watch fan, and talked nonstop about it; when anyone politely asked to talk about something else, she lost her shit and put them on the callout blog as well. She and a small group of other drama mongers were pretty much untouchable, because if anyone made one wrong move, they would get their username paraded around and accused of being transphobic/ableist/abusive/etc. Since Mickey was Latina and thirteen years old, white people and anyone older than her were the most common targets, but pretty much anyone was in danger of her cyber-wrath.
Mickey got into a relationship with a transgender boy a few weeks after I met her. The difference between this guy and Mickey was that he actually put effort into presenting male and wasn't going through a phase (he's still transitioning to this day, and doesn't center his entire personality around his gender). It was all well and good until Mickey started labeling herself as a "lesbian" despite being in a relationship with this poor guy. She also constantly belittled him and paid very little attention to him unless asspats were able to be recieved from outsiders, while the guy put a ton of effort into the relationship and seemingly cared a whole lot. Not only that, but I openly saw Mickey flirting with a girl on Twitter and claiming to be in a relationship with her. When I confronted her boyfriend about it, he seemed upset but tried to brush it under the rug as a misunderstanding.
Shit hit the fan with me and Mickey when a friend and I started posting Harambe memes. It was the summer of 2015, when the meme was first starting to emerge and was somewhat niche at the time. Mickey had a shitstorm and called us out for being "abusive" for making fun of "a child getting endangered and the death of a gorilla." Because Mickey had a small army of asskissers to back her up, massive drama started and my friend and I ended up getting blocked by upwards of 25 people, including Mickey and a few former friends. Since getting blocked by her, I wasn't able to keep up with her shenanigans, but I did speak with her boyfriend in 2016 about what happened. Apparently she just blocked him without warning on all social media, thus ending their relationship unannounced and completely out of the blue. I felt awful for the guy, but at least we'd never have to deal with a person of such unparalleled toxicity again.

He’s always peddled positivity and peace, seemingly to cope with crippling insecurity and a fuckton of skellies in the closet, including drug addiction, mysterious messy breakups, inability to get or keep a job, inept use of money, mental issues. He regularly posts (and sometimes deletes) big rants about karma and living free. He gets super defensive if someone calls him out on his shiny head or complete failure to accomplish anything. He’s vehemently anti-capitalism, and laces every post with ebegging. He has refused to touch a job, and been given everything by friends and fans, and constantly tries to sell himself as a deep artiste that needs to be protected from the cruel cruel world by helpful internet patrons.
Notable antics over the years include:
-flip-flopping about being trans
-begging for money and travel connections to go to a therapist in another country that uses shrooms as a form of therapy
-buying shitloads of weed and methadone on donations
-started selling essential oils at a high markup as a way to ‘heal people for money’, ended up failing to deliver and giving refunds
Basically put, he’s 30 and has done nothing at all in life, and I like to check in just to see what external thing he’s reaching for next to fix his life instead of doing something about it. (And how long his followers are going to pay for cigarettes, hormones, drugs, and iphones)

I'm an avid MMO player, and used to be a roleplayer. The roleplaying community has gotten so bad in MMOs in the past decade... But one game in particular has the worst people imaginable.
The balmung server on FFXIV. I used to be a raider on there a long time ago. It has the most obnoxious people imaginable on that server. We're talking Otherkin, LGBT+ , the Tumblr lolita community... Holy shit, it's so bad.
Well, many roleplayers on that shit server have tumblr accounts, and the kind of shit they post is both cringy and hilarious, when it isn't the most stupid shit you can think of.
I can link a few examples, if you guys want.

Once knew a 30~ year old on tumblr who was an actual toonphile. She legitimately believed she was “”married”” to this random guy from some obscure anime and would constantly commission artist to draw ship art of them lol. She also lived with her parents (who really wanted her to get a job) and would complain on her blog that she was never going to get a real bf because her fictional husbando is her true love or something.
I remember this one post of hers talking about how her mother was starting to accept her bringing her body pillow (yes she had a body pillow of him) to dinner. It was hilariously sad.

iirc toonphilia is the exclusive attraction to cartoon characters, so a toonphile differs from regular people in that they have no romantic or sexual interest in anyone not 2D.
Pretty hard for someone to not be at least a little bit exceptional from that description, I think

I've been following this person for years, the artist is spitblaze on tumblr.com, in the pic related they're saying that drawn child character nsfw art is the same as real child porn and yet whoops you forgot to delete those posts of your psychonauts child porn honey. They've got a whole tag dedicated to porn of characters who are meant to be ten years old but aged-up as adults, I could care less about whether or not that counts as child porn but someone should be pointing out how much of a hypocrite this makes them if they really do believe that any porn of underage characters, aged up or not is still apparently wrong. They're very popular on tumblr in the pokemon fandom as well. I've tried bringing this stuff up with them but got no response unsurprisingly.

This whole underage fictional characters= child porn is really ridiculous if you really think about. We all know what's child porn is and in order to make it must have real children in it. So these characters are just lines and colors, objects that people made. Also if porn drawings of underage characters is cp, every cartoon porn sites that have them should have shut down but they still up and running. And we know that any sites have cp are quickly shut down by the government. Look at rule 34 site, that site have over a to thousands of porn of underage characters and the site still running for all those years. Its 2018 and some people still believes this shit drawings of cartoon characters are the same as child porn which it's serious thing.
